Wow! My husband picked up G's book, and after 15 years of marriage, he's finally in the kitchen 'Turning Up The Heat' and cracking pots. Our family love the tasty and easy to put down recipes. They are soooooo good!

This book contains great recipes that are not too difficult for the home chef. The pictures are also very good.

I bought this book two days ago and when I sat down to mark the pages of recipes I wanted to try I realized I marked the entire book! I've already tried two dishes and I love it! Although he doesn't have a lot of pictures, it is his first book and I've already seen the other two books to know that he listened to his readers and added more pictures to his other two books. I can't wait to try more recipes and then try them with some of my friends! I consider myself someone who knows how to cook but is afraid to experiment and trying these recipes makes me want to cook all the time now!! I bought this book because a friend made the Bourbon BBQ wings and WOW if you ove Buffalo Wings you MUST try that sauce!

I found the cookbook very detailed and easy to follow. Garvin's presentation of southern food takes it to the next level while still keeping a traditional feel. Although I like trying new recipes and even new presentations, I really enjoy a cookbook to offer everyday recipes as well(which this cookbook offers). The only thing I would suggest is more pictures. Most cookbooks in my opinion need more pics. If you've never made the dish before you want an idea of what it should look like.

Full of tips and tricks and GG's lovely robust personality, this book is great for all levels of cooks. I also go to kraftflavorfulliving Garvin page for other recipes...

I love the show and now that I own the book, I love the book. I also love a man who can cook.

I love wonderful cookbooks -- to me, a cookbook worthy of being included in my extensive collection has to entertain as well as provide a source of mouthwatering recipes -- I'm so glad my niece purchased this book for me because it is both entertaining, and I've made some wonderful dishes from it.
