5 star definately. Why can't we get this series on our nook? I did get the 1st two books. None of them are available now.

I went into reading Turning Point behind the curve ball so to speak. Turning Point is the third book in the Kathleen Turner Series. However, it's the first book I've read. I have to admit that I had a hard time in the beginning with the book; simply because there were references to events that happened in the first two books. Blane and Kade are half brothers with different mothers. Blane grew up with wealth and privilege, while Kade grew up in foster care being abused. Blane and Kade truly care for each other. In fact, they have stated on more than one occasion that the other is the only person they would risk their life for. You can tell that they will always have the other's back. Blane is a former Navy SEAL and partner in the law firm Kathleen works for, Kirk and Trent. He also has political aspirations and a Senator as an uncle backing him up. Kade is a former FBI agent and current gun-for-hire. Kade is very good at what he does and has made plenty of enemies. The brothers tend to work with each other on difficult cases. Kathleen, Blane and Kade have very interesting relationships with each other. Kathleen is in love with Blane, but she isn’t sure how he truly feels about her. Blane cares for Kathleen and would do anything to protect her. Kathleen and Kade each have feelings for the other, going beyond simple friendship. It seems to be just a matter of time before they end up together. Turning Point has so many twists and turns. There are multiple plots going on within this book. In the beginning you have Kade and Kathleen doing some follow up on a lead from events taking place in the second book. You then have Blane representing someone he knows is guilty of a horrible crime. And these are just the tip of the iceberg. With Turning Point, you get everything from blackmail, assault, kidnapping, corruption, attempted-murder to murder. You don’t know who you can trust and who you can't. Everyone has their own agenda and everyone, including Kathleen, has secrets. Once I got into this book, I did not want to put it down. I got a lot more than I bargained for. While it seems Blane and Kade talk to each other somewhat consistently, they keep things to themselves and don't share information with Kathleen. While Blane and Kade have an understanding that they’re family and will be there for the other, there’s also this underlying jealousy the two have for each other. They are each jealous of the relationship Kathleen has with the other. From the beginning I was a fan of Kade, the same could not be said for Blane. Kade tends to always show up when Kathleen needs him. Not to say Blane isn’t there as well, because he is. I just feel there’s so much more going on with Blane and what little I’ve learned about him is only half of the picture. Kathleen doesn’t listen to anyone. It’s as if she likes to put herself in danger. I can NOT believe all the crap that happens to Kathleen. I mean really. You would think at some point she would just say enough is enough. She just keeps going back for more. While there are times I don’t like Kathleen or her actions, I respect her desire to always be willing to help, even if it means risking her own life. I will say that in the end my heart broke for her. Since there are so many twists and turns going on in this book, not everything gets resolved. The ending is unfreaking believable and has me dying to read the next book in the series. Source: NetGalley Reviewed for Read Your Writes Book Re

WOW...just, wow!  I’m completely & totally blown away by this book, and I don’t understand how I’ve never come across this series before now.  The cover strapped me in my seat, the first chapter shot me out of the gate, and the rest of the book was one hell of a roller coaster ride! Turning Point is action-packed, full of mystery, suspense and keeps you on the edge of your until the very end. Upon being introduced to Kathleen Turner, I knew she was going to be a favorite.  Her intellect, wit, strength and all around kick ass attitude endeared her to me.  She handles every situation thrown at her (and there are a lot) with a punch and a smile, and had me rooting for her every step of the way.  She is independent by nature, but doesn’t mind leaning on her support system, Blane and Kade, when she needs to.  As a reader, I wanted and needed her happiness; for someone to fight for her; for someone to put her first.  After all that she has suffered in the past, as well as in this book, she more than deserves all of that. Blane & Kade are half-brothers who both have feelings for Kathleen, which leads us to...the dreaded love triangle.  I don’t like the triangle and it’s usually one of the quickest ways to turn me off a book; BUT if done properly, it can add just enough drama to perfect a story.  That was the case in Turning Point and I loved every minute of being on Team Kade! A lot happens in this book and while the main storyline, a human trafficking mystery, is the main plot, several sub-plots were also developing.  This made for a fast paced read that left me reeling from the excitement, but also a little overload.  If felt like everything & anything that could happen to Kathleen, did happen to Kathleen and was a little overkill.  However, the last 50-100 pages were thrilling, absolutely unbelievable and had me screaming when it ended.  I really, really don’t want to wait until December for the next book! While this is book #3 in the series, it can be read as a standalone.  However, I think to get the full impact of the book, you need to read the series in order.  There were times that I did feel a little lost, but it didn’t detract from my reading experience.   Overall, this was an amazing introduction to Tiffany Snow’s writing and the fabulous world of Kathleen Turner.  Both are equally fantastic and a must read for any fan of the contemporary romance genre.

Turning Point, the third book in the Kathleen Turner series, finds Kat still trying to adjust to her private investigator position at the law firm, with Mr. Swoon worthy himself…Kade as her boss/trainer. Much to Blane’s dismay. Kathleen’s investigation into a case for the law firm she works at puts her in an unexpected and risky situation. As she gets closer to finding the answers she is seeking, the danger gets closer to her. Her job as well as her relationship with both Blane and Kade reaches a turning point and when everything is said and done, things may never be the same for anyone again.   I feel like each book in this series, is better than last and I love that. The Kathleen Turner Series is one of my favorite romantic suspense books. It’s not perfect, but it is a lot of fun to read, there is real suspense, real characters, and something is always happening.  ** I received this book from Montlake Romance via Netgalley in exchange for nothing, but my honest review. Thank you!**
