The No Fear series is always helpful to beginners and those with experience with Shakespeare. Although a few more footnotes and explanation of terms would improve the book.

This is a great way for students to learn to appreciate Shakespeare, as it helps them to understand the text and context better. Kudos to SparkNotes and the teachers who use these books in their classrooms.

As a teacher in an alternative school setting, I was apprehensive about starting a section on Shakespeare. I was pleasantly surprised by the reactions of my students when we read the 'No fear...Macbeth'. The students wanted to read more. I love this series because not only does it include the original text but it also explains the same in plain English. Buy this series for your students. You will not regret it!

Stupendous book. 12th night was a pain to read, although it was supposed to be a comedy, but this book made it easier to understand and contemplate all phrases by Shakespeare that requires you to be a history and mythology major!
