About the Author

Susan Rosson Spain has been a resident of Georgia for more than 30 years. She is the author of the critically acclaimed middle-grade novel The Deep Cut and is president of her local Habitat for Humanity affiliate. Susan currently lives in Decatur, GA.

Elizabeth O. Dulemba has written and/or illustrated over two dozen children’s books, including her novel, A Bird on Water Street. She is pursuing a PhD in Children’s Literature at the University of Glasgow in Scotland. During the summers, she teaches in the MFA in Writing and Illustrating Children’s Books program at Hollins University in Virginia.
