Twelve Days To Joy
Since losing her mom, Holly's life has been in limbo. Nearly one year later she's finally worked up the courage to go through her mom's belongings. Entering her mother's old bedroom changes everything because that's where she discovers mom's calendar, which lists one task for each day that her mom performed for others before she became ill. With only twelve days until Christmas, Holly decides to follow in her mother's footsteps and perform one task each day until Christmas to help someone else.

Chris Riley returns home ready to immerse himself in Christmas traditions that he and his parents enjoy, but he's shocked to find his dad in the hospital and his mother at his bedside. When he learns of his dad's underlying medical issue, he's riddled with guilt and hurt. Craving the comforts of the familiar, he visits his favorite café where he runs into his childhood friend, Holly, and learns of her intention to rediscover the joy of Christmas by helping others.

Seeing Holly lifts Chris' spirits because she represents his youth, a happier time when all he had to worry about was the roof of his homemade tree house collapsing from the rain or whether to trade his egg salad for Holly's PB&J. Needing to hold on to some semblance of hope, he joins Holly on her journey; the one bright light he sees in his homecoming.

Rediscovering the joy of Christmas isn't all Holly and Chris find while tackling these tasks together. They heal each other and in doing so, find the greatest gift of all. . .love.
