Cate Bailey is now happily in her third marriage, and her family includes four children with her first husband, who died in an auto accident after a terrible mental illness; the child and grandchildren of her second husband, who died of cancer after twenty-six wonderful years; and the children, grandchildren, and stepchildren of her third husband, who has taken everyone in as his own. Their family includes nine children, twenty-six grandchildren, and soon to be eleven great-grandchildren. Cate’s roots grow in Tennessee, Pennsylvania, California, Florida, Iowa, and Kentucky, but she lives in the same Mississippi county in which her husband Danny has always lived.
