Overview

Twilight with Poster by Stephenie Meyer

The movie tie-in edition of the #1 bestselling trade paperback includes a collectible full-color, fold-out poster.

Bella Swan's move to Forks, a small, perpetually rainy town in Washington, could have been the most boring move she ever made. But once she meets the mysterious and alluring Edward Cullen, Bella's life takes a thrilling and terrifying turn. Up until now, Edward has managed to keep his vampire identity a secret in the small community he lives in, but now nobody is safe, especially Bella, the person Edward holds most dear.

Deeply romantic and extraordinarily suspenseful, Twilight captures the struggle between defying our instincts and satisfying our desires. This is a love story with bite.

This book is exactly what I needed to take me away from a reality that was a personal Hell and thrust me into a fantasy that is an absolute dream.
It pulled me out of my rut and has given me something to look forward too with 3 more books to go. I read in under 24 hours and am doing the same with the next three. If the movie is as half as good as the book then I have a LOT to look forward too. You almost feel like you know the characters and want to be friends with them- they engulf you. You want to just know more and more and more and therefore cannot put the book down.
This book is an absolute dream - and I am so sad I found it so late. Harry Potter doesnt have anything on Twilight.

I absolutly love this book. I was a little late to the Twilight series because I felt it was for teenagers but my nephew(yes, guys read it also)and was engrossed within a few minutes, finished it within a day. Team Edward all the way!!!

I love Twilight! I love how romantic and suspenceful it is. Everyone who reads this will love it! I did! I read this book over and over and over again. I can't stop. It's a hand gripper, you can't let it go. I could wake up all night reading it and never go to bed, but my mother will probably be very angry at me. This book is the best teens book. Thsi book should be nominated as the best teens book of the century! Remember to read the whole entire series of Stephanie Meyer books. Theres 3 more after Twilight. Twilight is first, New Moon is second, Eclipse is third and Breaking Dawn is the last book of the series. Have fun reading. Remember, reading is magical. Anyway, 5 stars for the entire series!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Loved the book. The ending is a real cliff hanger, so plan to have to purchase the rest of the series.

I am 51 years old and never expected to enjoy this book as much as I did. All of the young women I work with were reading it and talking about it so I thought I would read it to support them. I think it is very well written and not just for a young audience. I am on book four and sad it is ending!

The book was just plan fun and exciting to read. I read all four in the series in a week. They are teen-rated books but they caught my interest quickly and kept it held fast all the way through to the last book. The fourth book ends as what could be considered a real ending but the creative mind could find merit in a fifth book. If it's written, I'll be sure to buy it. I'm planning to buy the movie when it comes out in March too.

My 14 year old niece asked me to read it so we would have something fun to discuss over lunch during the holiday break. I'm surprised; the book is pretty good. I almost feel guilty saying that cause I am no where near being a teenager.

I'm not a fan of paranormal romance much at all, really. But for some reason, this book had me hooked. There was a lot more to it than romance and vampires. It was a tale of life and choice. One we can all relate to, on some level. It is most definitely deserving of its success.

I once said that I would never read this book, I mean who would want to read about vampires in high school?! But as they say "never say never" I started reading this because I was told to give it a chance, well I did, and after the first sentence i was hooked! I wanted to know what was going to happen, and as I read I actually fell in love with the characters, with their story and their love. I could not put this book down! My absolute favorite book, I got butterflies in my stomach reading this. I laughed I cried and I fell in love with Edward. I hate how people try to compare this and Harry Potter, and as a HP fan I say that there is no comparison, these books are completely different and I am not sure how and why the comparison started. I kept on reading the rest of the Twilight Saga, and I loved every second I read them. When I was done, I felt empty; I wish there were more books..... Great, great, great book. To those people that criticize, I say this; I used to criticize them as well, and now I must say I am a Twifan!
