I loved this series, it was frightening, sad, triumphant, loving, sexy, hot as hell, etc. Twisted Together had me crying for these two characters so this one is extremely emotional. Ms.Winters ended Q and Tess' story beautifully. It was a love uncondional, and knew no bounds. It reached the dakest part of their souls but Suzette brought it into the light. I loved the interaction of the characters, the devotion to each other, the support of Q, and the respect they had for Tess. Tess became the woman she was meant to be strong, confident, and valued as well as loved due to Q. Q faced his demons because of her and as a result he learned to control the beast (the hatred he felt for his father, the anger her felt towards his mother, the pain and guilt (for being to young to save her) for his sister). I loved this couple!!!!

I don't think this trilogy could have been wrapped up any more perfectly. I absolutely loved the passion these two characters have for each other throughout. Pepper Winters, thank you for breathing life into all of these characters for us. Amazing job on the details. I felt like I was there in every heart-stopping moment. I also hope we see more of Suzette in the future. I love how she knows what they need so well.

The monsters in the dark series is one of the best stories I have had the pleasure of reading.   While being very DARK it also tells a story of a woman finding herself even when she thinks her life is over.   It is also about a man who thought he would never find someone who he could truly be himself with.   Twisted Together is the conclusion to the story of " slave 58" breaking her master and loving him for saving her.   You will not be disappointed.  Tess and Q's story will stick with me for a while.

Wow! So I finished reading Twisted Together, and I have mixed feelings about it. I just felt it was super long, and I wanted to get to their happily ever after a little faster. Call me impatient.  Don’t get me wrong overall I liked it. Was it my favorite in the Monsters in the Dark series? No. Was it bad? Not at all. I pretty much enjoyed it and ended up giving it 4 stars.  This is our crescent-moon, Tess. It’s more important than any honeymoon; it’s about us fighting our demons, so they don’t taint our future (Q).  This one quote summed up the entire book for me. This entire book was about Q and Tess finally getting to their version of happily ever after. An ever where two monsters in the dark were able to find their forever in each other. Everything about them in this book made me fall in love with them as a couple. Their interactions, their fights, their sex, their vows, everything…….. Their love for each other knew no bounds. They went to hell and back for each other, and I freaking loved Mr. and Mrs. Mercer.  Tess: I’m not going to lie, I loved to see her transform into the strong woman we saw by the end of the book. I was extremely proud of her.  Q: I still loved his dominant side. I loved his monster, but I also loved to see his vulnerable side. To see just how much Tess affected him. It was heartwarming.   I don’t want to give anything away, but here were some of my random thoughts: #1 Franco now has a special place in my heart. He’s someone everyone needs in their corner.  #2 Suzette missed her calling as an events planner. #3 Q is worth how much? #4 Tess was right. An eternal love will demand the worst sacrifices.  #5 Their sex was hot especially while in Rome. =) #6 Oh, and let’s just say that their vows had my eyes watering.  Anywho, Twisted Together wrapped everything up. Job well done! I loved this series.

LOVED LOVED LOVED the series, but the final book made me angry.  **Spoiler Alert -  l so loved everything up until the 'wedding scene'. From then on it was totally ruined for me.  The beautiful white wedding was great and then the 'surprise' which made no sense.   It did not fit the characters at all to do what they did, or were forced to do I should say..  It kind of cheapened it all.  It would have made  more of an impact to do that on their 'honeymoon' alone!  From then on the romance, eroticism was lost for me.  I skipped to the end,  to try and get past 'the ceremony' and I'm not sure I even like interview at the end.  I love happy endings, but this kind of got too syrupy.  Yes, I understand that they were going to run their charity, etc., but their characters would not be so out in the public eye.  That just isn't them.  Even after everything that happened, they would still be private, yet would help others.   Just very disappointed in how it turned out.  The books were PERFECT up until the surprise at the wedding and went downhill for me from there.  I will try and go back and read the ending again, but for now I will read something else.

5 stars = I freaking LOVED this book Twisted Together is the perfect ending to one of the most untraditional love stories I have ever read. Tears of Tess was her story, Quintessentially Q was his, and Twisted Together is theirs as they move forward in a life together. Despite the trials and tribulations they have faced and overcome, Tess and Q find that their happily ever after is threatened at every turn by factors within their relationship and the outside world. But something worth having is worth fighting for, and they both fight for their relationship relentlessly in this book.  Twisted Together is not a stand-alone book and anyone attempting to read it as such will be woefully lost and is cheating themselves from the beauty of the relationship between a sadist and his masochist. As this is the third book in the Monsters in the Dark series, you are already well-acquainted with the main characters and their lives. You know the literal tortures both Tess and Q have experienced as well as the inner demons that fight daily. While the sex is just as hot as in the prior books, it is also healing and loving as their relationship continues to strengthen in their shared needs and tragedies.  Ms. Winters possesses an astounding talent that leaves me wanting more – not because the story is incomplete, but because Tess and Q’s story is beautiful in its darkness and I’m not ready for it to be over. Her writing elicited the full gamut of emotional reactions as I read Twisted Together: I cried, I feared, I squirmed, I smiled, and I even laughed (when Q made sure that Lynx’s cuts never moved beyond his legs). There is so much that goes on in the book, that commenting on particular scenes risks revealing spoilers for this and the previous books. So I will leave you with this, if you enjoyed the journey through Tears of Tess and Quintessentially Q, then you will not be disappointed with Twisted Together.   I received a complimentary copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.  Reviewed by Angela at Crystal's Many Reviewers!

I still need time to recuperate from this book. Without fail Ms. Winters blew my ever loving mind AGAIN! With Q and Tess and their trials, struggles, and heartache. It was utterly overwhelming. This is a dark, very dark, erotic romance. BUT there are those moments where Tess and Q just are. They're simply a couple in love. Those moments make any uneasiness you would ever feel while reading this series seem inconsequential. This book is everything. It puts me out of my comfort zone, forces me into a nitty gritty relationship. Most of all, it takes me out of my own head and thoughts and pushes me into Tess' and Q's. Which in my opinion is the ultimate achievement of the best books out there.  Q and Tess are back. They're home. No one is chasing them. The monsters are gone... except their own. The will fight, relive, rehash, love and do just about anything to exorcise the demons that have taken Tess away. She may be there physically, but mentally she can't do it. She can't be what Q needs, or what she, herself, needs. From broken and battered to whole and alive. These two continue on this screwy journey. They've never been whole at the same time. They'll learn to rid their lives of obstacles and not stand in their own way of happiness. It's trial and error. Neither knows what will work. And that's where you hit mid way through the book. Then it's a whole new ball game. If it were possible for me to love these characters even more it happens in the last half of this book. They become one. Q and Tess will be faced with yet another trial, but this one... Well this one may just not have the happy ending we all wanted it to.  This book is hard for me to describe in words. I tried. All I can say is "You just have to read it." It won't be easy, but it will damn sure be worth it. The ultimate escape with the best characters and the most twisted, yet fulfilling storyline. Ms. Winters will make you work for it. She gives zero excuses for Q and Tess. They are who they are. No changing them or making miraculous last minute turnabouts. I don't think I've ever read a couple that was more deserving of a HEA. Of course, back on that twisty note, you never know what Ms. Winters will lay out for her characters. Will it end leaving you satisfied, dumbfounded, or in complete awe of Q and Tess' love? That's for you to find out. This is one ending I refuse to spoil. All I can say is every thing felt right and at peace. I beg of you pick up this series, or book if you're all caught up. It's definitely one for my book shelf, and lord knows there's limited space on there by now :) Happy Reading!  *ARC provided by the author in exchange for an honest review*

Theme song: "Monster" by Imagine Dragons From the ashes rises a phoenix, or two in this case. After Tess's capture, Q continues to heal her. Their connection deepens and their lives are finally seeming to calm. She's not completely back to herself, but she's finding strength in accepting her past and moving forward despite the scars. Now, it's Q's turn. Faced with demons from his underground dealings that threaten to expose the humanitarian in him to the world, all of his former clients are out for blood. But he can't do it alone even though everything in him wants Tess to stay out of danger. This is where we really see both characters, particularly Tess, strengthen in all aspects. She's stronger than ever and everything's she's been through has led up to proving herself as Q's equal. Twisted Together spotlights the mental fortitude of the characters and their love for each other. How far would you go to save the one you love? As always, Pepper continues to amaze me with her debut series! The pacing is steady, the scenes gritty, and, as always, sinfully sensual. They're complex, they're steadying their feet, and diving head first together. It isn't physical strength that will see them through, not their wit nor words; it is a game of the mind, and to survive, they must keep hold of one another. Forever a die hard Pepper fan after this series... absolutely amazing. Tess and Q's story is everything, dark, vengeful, scary, beautiful and refreshing. This is one of those stories that stay with you.. coming back over a year after reading it to write this review its still fresh in my mind... and its something Pepper manages to do with all her stories, they find their way in and never leave. I simply can't recommend this book, series and author enough!! Tess & Q's story will rip your heart apart and piece it back together bit by bit.... HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommended!!!

Q gave everything to bring Tess back to the point it almost broke him. In return, he expects nothing less. Tess may have leashed and tamed him, but he's still a monster inside. After surviving the darkness, a new dawn has begun, chasing the light of true love to banish the shadows forever. Pain is a requirement, connection a necessity. But ultimately Q and Tess must face their demons, before they can embrace their future. A fabulous finish to the series.  After everything that Q has done in his attempt to protect and heal Tess it is now her turn to show him that she is strong enough to do the same for him and she does so magnificently.  In the end for Q to finally understand Tess has accepted him for who he truly is and to bare his soul and let her in to his most hidden secrets and feelings was the ultimate gift.  That Q has learned that comfort and tenderness can be as important and soothing to not only Tess but to himself, as pain has been to the both of them was very rewarding.

Twisted Together is a good book,  although I didn't enjoy it as much as I did Tears of Tess and Quintessentially Q. And honestly I can't put my finger on why.  It has the dark romance and erotic scenes,  but it just didn't pull me in like the other two.

I loved it. My gosh, what a series. One I will definitely read again and again. I love dark and disturbing books and this series was so well written, I was completely consumed with it. Pepper Winters is a master in this genre ( along with my other faves CJ Roberts and Tiffany Reizs ) and never dissapoints.

Brilliantly written series. It didn't end how I thought it would which is both a pleasant surprise annd a little let down. But I fell in love with Tess and Q in book one- Tears of Tess- and I had to see it through. This books brings it all full circle  and I just love seeing the metamorphis of the two characters.  This is a must read if you have the stomach for it. Because this wrap up to a marvelously written series will leave you twisted.
