Racer McKay is a broody bastard.
From the moment I met him, he's been rude, irritable, and unbearable. And worse? He's broke.
A contractor working to remodel my parents pool house for extra cash, he stomps around in those clunky construction boots with his tool belt wrapped around his narrow waist, and a chip on his shoulder.
Racer McKay is also infuriatingly . . . sexy as hell. I want to take that pencil tucked behind his ear, and draw lazy lines slowly up and down his body all the while wanting to strangle him at the same time.
We try to stay out of each other's way . . . that is until I have no other option but to ask for his help.
But what I don't realize is he needs me just as much as I need him. I have money he's desperate for, and he holds the key to making my dreams come true.
Our pranks turn from sarcastic banter, to sexual tension and lust-filled glances. Bickering matches quickly morph into slow burn moments. We're hot, we're cold. We push and pull. I need him, I don't want him. We're on the verge of combusting with an agreement dangling dangerously between us. Neither one of us can afford to lose one another and yet, we're finding it quite hard to decipher the line that rests between love and hate.

Twisted Twosome is one of the most hilarious books I’ve read in my entire life. Also, it was just as heartfelt, as it was hilarious. Racer is just this one of kind guy. He’s hilarious, but when you get really into his core of his character, he has the hugest heart. Georgiana, I was unsure of at first, but she was just right for him. Like two puzzle pieces coming together. “You learn to live freely when you lose a piece of your heart. It’s the only way to survive.” There’s a lot these two go through. I think it’s amazing how Quinn can write a story, that’s hilarious but at the same time brings you to tears. There are so many moments that these two have together, that you just treasure. “All it takes is a little humanity to help you fall for another soul.” I was in the Dr’s office reading some of it. Because it takes like an hour even though you have an appointment. There’s this part in the story where Racer is pranking Georgiana. I had to hold my laughter in, while in the waiting room! it was glorious lol But I will not go into detail because I want everyone to experience the laughter. I really love this series of standalones that Quinn has pulled out. They're all so different and I love a good romance. I honestly feel they have everything. Overall, I give this Five Boundless Stars.
I fell in love with Racer and his Debbie Cakes in My Ex Best Friend and now having a whole book of him WOW. He is fantastic. Funny, sweet, and protective. He and G are so similar in that they are both trying to prove themselves. He could not be more wrong of his first impression of her. He thought she was the stuck up little rich girl. But in reality she is nothing like that. She is trying to prove to her dad that she has what it takes to be successful and not just arm candy for her future husband. Although her business proposal looks good to her father when she first approaches him he is anything but supportive. After all she is a woman and she has no place in the business world. Her only job right now should be helping her mother with the many charities her mother is involved in. Racer and her have a chemistry but he tries to ignore it because he sees that they can never be together because of their social differences. What he doesn't realize is that they both complete the other. They are more similar than he realizes. It isn't until he accompanies her to a weekend in the Hamptons that he accepts that maybe they can be together and that opposites do attract.
What a seriously fun romp this was! I can’t stress enough how much fun I had reading this book. I didn’t want it to end! The sarcastic banter was hilarious and the characters are so well developed and I couldn’t help but fall in love with them! The secondary characters are a great supporting cast and they provide some serious laughs. They also are a source of great support and understanding to our characters. There is a lot of push and pull between the characters that keeps you entertained! Racer and Georgianne are amazing together, whether they are pranking each other or helplessly falling in love with each other. This story is not only funny, it’s so much more. There is a beautiful love story with some notes of melancholy woven throughout. It is the story of a spoiled rich girl that has her own story to tell and a man drowning in debt, due to circumstances beyond his control, trying to survive. There is so many feels in this book! Their story made me laugh out loud, cry and fall in love right along with the characters. I absolutely loved this book and I can say that this is my favorite book by this author! I highly recommend this terrific heartfelt romantic comedy!
