Overview

In "Koukouyoukou, Kikiriki, Koukouyoukou: A Rooster from Little Paradise That Never Stopped Crowing," a Haitian rooster crowed so much that it chased tourists and village residents away from a village named Foche, Ayiti in the first place. Then, when it was sold to a nearby village named TiParadi or Little Paradise, it ended up making its owner rich and popular. The rooster became restless and crowed enough to warn the residents of the village of an oncoming tsunami, allowing them to flee to high grounds. In "Vwala Se Te Yon Fwa," a twelve-year boy, born into a good Haitian family and named Traka Pongongon, never stopped jogging and running around the city of BelleVille. He kept a secret which he never revealed to anybody. He set free any animals he found on his way, making their owners mad. He then told the story of a huge whale that got stranded on BelleVille beach, causing a whole village market to empty because everyone wanted to see that whale too. Other people ended up informing him of the whale, causing even him to run with them to see it. The boy ended up believing his own story. Was there a stranded whale in the first place?
