Claire is a mom, widow, author, good friend and a bit broken. She is having a hard time getting on with her life after the death of her husband and everything seems to be collapsing in on her.  Adam is a dad, widower, pilot and having a hard time getting on with his life also. They were friends back when their spouses were alive and have lost track of each other. Adam comes up with a way for Claire to get back on track and they end up sharing a flat in London. We are invited along to see them heal, grow and find love again. The journey is done with humor and I did not want to see it end. They are two characters you instantly come to care about and want to spend more time with.  I received an advanced reader copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

I laughed out loud and I also had tears fall down my cheeks. I couldn't stop reading this wonderfully written book that not only took me to another country but made me feel like I was actually a part of Claire Gissler's life. You see, my friend Claire, she is the main character in this book. Who happens to be a writer and she lives in the States on a small island where everyone knows everyone. She lost her husband a couple years ago in a motorcycle accident. Unfortunely, she blames our mutual friend Adam for the accident and eventhough Adam very much feels responsible for the accident, it definitely wasn't his fault. Claire finds herself in a situation where she has to travel to London to promote her book because she wasn't doing too well here in the States. Adam also has to travel to London for work to help out a friend of his and offers to help Claire out by giving her a place to stay while in London. Claire is so prideful. She really has issues with this but really has no choice being that her daughter, Anna is in college and needs money and Claire, herself is almost broke. She takes Adam up on his offer and decides while she's over there she will start another book as well. It's about time. You know she hasn't written since the death of her husband with her being depressed and all. Well, all of that is over with now. There just simply isn't time for any more of that. She also starts a blog to keep all of us here in the States posted on all of her adventures and boy does she have adventures. I really hope you enjoy this book as much as I have. I wrote my review like this to make a strong point. A bit silly, maybe, but like I said earlier I felt like I actually knew these characters and was a part of this book. Any author that can do that with their writing is truly amazing and blessed. I really think it is one of my favorites. I think one of the reasons is because the characters are more mature and this is not your typical romance novel. The characters are relatable and realistic. Everyone is not rich, royal, perfect and waiting for love. I hated for this book to end but I just think its perfectly written and it just really couldn't get any better. Thank you, Jill Urbach. I hope to read more of your brilliance in the future. I LOVED IT!!!! Happy reading, eveyone.

If this book were a movie it would be a great romantic comedy! Jill Urbach has a fun style and the book just moves right along. I'm looking forward to her next book already.
