The biggest problem this book has is its not a Hawkeye book. Its an Ultimates story involving Hawkeye and should have taken place in that book. We are given a very brief look into Clint's past but the star of the book is sadly the antagonists. There is even in the inclusion of some Ultimate Universe mutants with absolutely no exposition as to who they are or why they're present. Hickman is always a guy with big ideas, and the're here, just misdirected. The art by Rafa Sandoval is very good but he doesn't get a lot to work with especially involving the main character. Overall, its a small piece in what I'm sure is a bigger puzzle but its misleading.
