After a major cross over event that came so close to ruining the imprint, New Ultimates knows how to revive a series with a bang. The most likable character returns from the dead (that's not a spoiler, it's in the title of the book) to breath new life into the team as well as hint of a far greater conflict down the road brewing in the Azgardian after life

The Ultimate universe started very strong but leading up to the Ultimatum event, the event itself, and what first followed, the universe has been declining. This might be step forward finally. The story was really good, while too salacious for the hero books I enjoy. I always love a good Loki story and this is what this book truly is. The house got cleaned and hopefully the future will continue on this path. The art by Frank Cho is, of course, amazing. He meshes cheesecake with cartoony action perfectly. Overall, a very good book.
