Even though this story was more about Colt and Jo's relationship involving there were still a few twists involved. Colt's parents finally accept Jo and the bond begins. The ending of this book just topped it off. I love how JJ Knight puts so much into her characters and makes you cry and laugh along side of them. She is forever keeping you guessing as the book continues. She will forever had me as a fan and I will put all of her books on my TBR list. This series was a Knock Out.

The final book in this serial brings answers to some and closure to others. A brutal beating and near death brings Colt's family closer together, helps Jo find her lost family and also brings others to justice. Some doors close but others are opened. Goals are achieved as Jo and Colt start a new chapter in their lives. Awesome series that is well worth reading.

Jo and Colt have been attacked first by Annie, Lani, Striker then by some thugs hired by them. Parker was there but left before they were attacked. He came back when he hears the gunshots. Parker shakes Jo awake to help him with Colt. He calls 911. The ambulance and cops show up. They take Jo and Colt to the hospital. As soon as Jo wakes up she asks where Colt is and how he is doing. The second time she wakes up Buster is talking to her and telling her to be calm. Her doctor is there she asks him how Colt is doing. He tells her that he made it so far and is in ICU. They tell her that she can’t visit him but that they will try and get an update for her. Buster tells her what he knows, that they found and arrested the people that attacked them and that they also arrested Parker. The police come to talk to her that day. Later she convinces Nate to go home. After he leaves she waits a bit then sneaks out of her room up to the ICU. There is a nurse and Jo tells her that she is Colt McClure’s wife and she is here to see him. When the doors open there are 2 hulking men who tell Colt isn’t allowed to have visitors. As the doors start to close Jo rushes forward to go through them. One of the men grabs her and Jo struggles to get away. Then she hears a firm female voice telling the men to set her down. The woman who came to her assistance is Colt’s mom Eve. She takes Jo back to see Colt. The doctors are keeping Colt sedated. Right there in that moment Jo decides to give Colt her hurricane. The next day Colt’s dad moves her to a private room in a private part of the hospital. Her step mom and step brother are all over the news saying she attacked him years ago for no reason. Colt’s mom says they will help her with a lawyer. She tells them Colt already hired one. Later in the day Eve comes and tells Jo that they brought Colt out of the coma and he is asking for her. She gets to talk to him for a bit not as long as she would like though. They take her back to her room and she runs into Zero on the way trying to sneak into see her. The next day Jo is discharged but she doesn’t leave. Colt is moved out of ICU to the floor right below them. Jo meets with the attorney Colt hired to talk about her case. A week later Colt starts rehab. The second week of rehab Colt’s dad watches and says that he is moving him to private facility that can rehab him better. So they load him up and take him to the other facility. The facility they take him to is in Hawaii. What will happen to the people that attacked them? Why did they decide to use the rehab place in Hawaii? What is next for Colt and Jo? I was so glad I waited till 5 came out to read 4. I don’t think I couldn’t have waited with the cliff hanger 4 left you on. I was so shocked when they got hurt at the end of 4. I love Jo’s character so much. She is feisty and resourceful. I love when she tells them that she is Colt’s wife. I also fell in love with Colt’s mom Eve in this book. It is hard to imagine her with someone like Colt’s dad. She accepts Jo right away and doesn’t care about her past or what other people think or say about her. She just loves Jo because Colt does. Cotl and Jo vow that nothing is ever going to come between them again. That they can get through anything as long as they are together. This was a fantastic series and I loved it so much. It was fantastically written and kept you on the edge of your seat the whole time. I can’t wait to read more from this author. I was given this book as a gift in return for an honest review.

After the major cliffhanger, the apprehension continued as we move into Part 5, the final installment. Despite that fact, I was relieved to see loose ends being tied up. We also saw more interactions with Colt's parents. This came as a surprise and was very pleasant. We saw a totally different side of The Cure. As for Jo, she refused to be beaten and she won't be. She will do all that she can to ensure that Colt will not be beaten as well, even as her past catches up with her. But as the saying goes, every cloud has a silver lining and indeed she had a few good things happening to her, things that really meant a lot.  Colt is one hell of a fighter and man. I really loved how Colt and Jo managed to keep things together despite so many things that happened. The epilogue couldn't have been more perfect. I teared and I felt so happy that things are and will be brighter for them from now on. There are a few surprises in this installment, one was Brittany. I couldn't help but laugh at that scene. We also had Dylan Wolf again and last surprise was about Zero. He couldn't have been a better friend… JJ Knight is one hell of a writer with those intense scenes, explicit descriptions of the fights, well-placed cliffhangers and a fast writer. Her books are so seamlessly connected that your emotions get connected right back as well despite the breaks in between installments. And even though she is a fast writer, you'd never feel that the story is being rushed and she gives you the perfect endings to her stories. I look forward to reading more from her and especially looking forward to reading about Parker, a spin off from this series. I received a gifted copy of this book in exchange for a honest review.

After the cliffhanger of the last instalment I was glad to see that the tension was carried on for a while in this one too, just the perfect amount, and then loose ends were tied up even some I didn't see coming.  I also loved the way Dylan Wolf was bought into it so we caught up with him again, it's great to see how they all tie together.  Jo has become such a strong character now, the way that she and Brittany yes the two of them take their own revenge is poetic to say the least but that she has the strength of character to do it is wonderful to see. Colt has learnt to much too, and I was glad to see that his dad seemed to have learnt some lessons as well, because his attitude was so much better, I actually liked him, and Eve Colt's mum was a delight.  Zero trying to get into the hospital in drag is an image it will take me a while to get over, and all the others are there Buster who lies and says he's Jo's family to get into the hospital, Killjoy, Nate all your favourites.  This was a fitting end to this story that has taken us on an emotional journey with two characters who will live on in our memories for a long time.  I received a free copy for an honest review.

Awesome ending to the series! This series really grabs you and sucks you in. With the major cliffhanger in book #4, it was good to get back to the story. This edition brought a lot of changes in everyone. Without giving away any spoilers, it showed the growth of not only Colt and Jo but Colt's father as well. The book also brings in an unexpected character that has an immediate impact on Jo's life. Jo's past comes back with a bang and it is good to have a resolution to that problem. It is also nice to see Colt's father making an effort to accept Jo in not only Colt's life but his as well. We are introduced to Colt's mother and I loved her character. As usual, Zero kept things interesting for a moment. I hated to see this series come to an end. I would love more Colt & Jo. They are a couple that you would like to follow on with their future...hint, hint to J.J. Knight...give us some more Colt & Jo in the future. Five stars for the entire series! Cliffhangers are over so if you haven't started the series, now is the time to do it!

I received a copy from the author in exchange for my honest review, so here it is. At the end of part 4, Colt and Jo are laying in an alley after being attacked by a group of thugs sent by Striker, Annie, Lani and Parker. But Parker leaves before anything happens and afterwards he is back to help Colt and Jo. Two days later Jo wakes up in the hospital with her arm in a sling and all she wants is to know how Colt is, Buster is there for her and tells her how he is but she has to see him. There are huge guards outside of ICU and will not let her in. But Colt's mom Eve steps in and takes Jo to see Colt. He seems to be holding his own. Her stepfamily is back in the picture and she doesn't know what to do. But when The Cure steps in to help, she is flabbergasted. Not sure what to think. Colt is getting better, The Cure insist on taking him to a better rehab center. So they are flown to Hawaii, where Jo finds family she never knew she had. Colt gets better, the stepfamily has a suit against Jo but is gets dismissed. And the ending is perfect. Although there are a lot of pain and heartache in this story, it is perfect as is and I wouldn't want to change anything. Thanks for another great series JJ Knight. Also check out JJ's Revenge series too, it is about rockstar Dylan Wolf, it's great too.

What a way to end this story. I am so pleased with all of it. I am so grateful to have been able to be part of this journey for Jo and Colt. It was so full of so many tears, sorrow, sadness, but through it all, love. Oh the love was the best. And it was so worth it all. I am not really even giving much away, but I loved when Zero would bring by cups of randomwichs and Buster didn't know what going on with that. It just really showed that even when Jo felt as if she had no one in her corner, she had Zero, Buster and Nate. And even when Jo thought she gave Colt her Hurricane strenght, she really kept it inside as well. I truly don't know how JJ does this with any energy left, but I am amazed by it. Thank you!!

I was gifted a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Thank you JJ Knight for such an amazing ending to this series. As I was reading I found myself still having so many questions, even after installment #4. I was so happy to see that not only did she answer my unasked questions but also made it so that the ending left me satisfied that I got everything out of the story I could. Installment 4 left off with Jo and Colt in bad shape from a fight with their enemies and the thugs they hired to hurt them. the secrets that Jo has been keeping from everyone but Colt about her past have come to light and are now coming back to haunt her. A mysterious person from her past is found and brought back into her life along with others she had no clue about. Colt's dad was interesting. Up until this book I couldn't help but hate the man for the things he did and how he went about them. Towards the end of installment #5 he actually seemed more human. I was pretty impressed with how the author brought that about. Even with all the tragedies that befell them Colt and Jo still managed to keep things together. Its nice to see two strong main characters who put forth a 100% effort to be together vs. just one chasing after the other. I couldn't help but crush a little bit for Colt.

Love Truly Overcomes And True Love Wins!!, Wow, can I say it again, WOW!  I have truly enjoyed the Uncaged Love Series.  I was in shock at the end of Volume 4 with that cliffhanger.  I had my hand over my mouth in shock and was screaming no.  I have been on pins and needles waiting for the conclusion and to know what happened with Jo and Colt after they had been shot and left in the ally.  Thank you for not killing either of them off.  I cried, literally cried, during the lei ceremony when Jo placed the lei on her mother.  Wow, The Cure must be a real softy, locating Jo's mother and arranging for her to be the housekeeper in Hawaii.   This series has been very emotional, and so beautiful.  I was glad to see Brittany step up and help Jo with the comeuppance that was so due to Annie and Lani.  And thrilled to see Colt make his comeback in spite of the seriousness of his gunshot wounds.  Also to see The Cure accept and support Colt and Jo and their relationship.  As much as I truly enjoyed Revenge, I do believe Uncaged Love was even better! Author JJ Knight just keeps stepping up the game!  I cannot wait to see where we go next!  I wish we had more than 5 stars to give!
