A Contemporary Romance with Elements of Suspense

Chella Noon's life isn't her own. Her success as a Marketing Executive in the cosmetic division of an international conglomerate is overshadowed by a series of tragic events from a decade ago. With no family, few trusted friends and years spent on the run, she opens herself up to the possibility of a future with a sexy new real estate investor despite escalating threats from a psychotic ex determined to torment her.

Mitch Mariani never met a deal he couldn't close. So when Chella walks into his life, he will stop at nothing to prove he is worthy of her trust. But as Chella's past catches up to them and danger exposes his well-guarded secrets, his heart may not be the only thing at risk of a tragic end.

Well written romance/thriller. Rebecca Rohman keeps you in suspense with the romance between Chella and Mitch along with the terrorizing of Chella by an ex-boyfriend. There are many twist and turns. You laugh, cry and expect the unexpected.

Rebecca Rohman pulled me into Chella's world and made me feel everything she was feeling. Chella has been living a life of fear for 10 years – a boyfriend gone wrong in the worst possible way. She meets Mitch and for the first time wants to have a different life and look to the future. There is a great back and forth between Chella and Mitch as she works to protect the people she loves while he wants to protect her in the same way. Their passions are also displayed in the bedroom with the same intensity as everything else that happens in their lives. This story has a lot of suspense as we live through the emotional trials Chella is subjected to by her ex-boyfriend Aaron. There were moments when I was very frustrated with Chella's decisions but at the same time completely understood why she did what she did. There is a great cast of supporting characters and a few people I would have liked to punch. Overall, a very enjoyable story about hope, love and finding your true home.

I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. I loved this book. Throughout the book Chella and Mitch go through many ups and downs. Each one of them kept me reading to figure out what was going to happen with them. There were many situations I this book where I felt I could understand what these to were going through. This book kept me guessing until the end trying to figure out how things were going to end for these two.

I was given this book as an ARC for an honest review. I gave this book 5 stalking stars ;) This is Chella and Mitch's story. From the outside Chella looks like she has it all. A strong life, a great job, wonderful friends. The only thing that her friends seem to think that she is missing is a man. But Chella is not interested in a man. She has had problems for the last ten years from her ex. A man that has not left her alone but has stalked her for years and made her life miserable and the only thing she seems to be able to do is move to get away from him, she doesn't have a car or a lease on her apartment. She tries to stay under the radar as much as possible. This man makes her life a living hell.  She meets Mitch, through her friends of course and goes on a few dates with him and tries to push him away, but Mitch is harder to deter then the other men she has been with. He wants to get to know her. And he will stop at nothing to let her know that she is safe.  Go on this journey with Chella and Mitch and watch them as they fall in love, even with all the horrible stuff that is going on around them, her ex is not going to leave them alone without a fight. A fight that Mitch is willing to stand by her side and fight. Chella will learn that not everyone leaves, she will learn that sometimes you gotta stay to make things ok. She will learn that sometimes love will conquer all. But when her ex really does not give up, will it be enough to just have love? Will Mitch stay when it gets really hard and other people that he loves start to get hurt? Will Chella sit back and let all this happen, it's one thing for her to get hurt and have to run, it is another for her friends and the people that she loves.  I loved this book, I loved Mitch. He was so good to Chella and was someone that listened to her, he protected her and he learned to love her. He made promises to her that he would always be by her side and always love her. Chella had up walls and was a little more of a nut to crack, but once she trusted she learned to let Mitch love her the way she was suppose to be loved all along.  This poor couple goes through hell and back, and just when you think it is over something else happens to them. I was on the edge of my seat and not wanting to put the book down at all.  Thank you for your amazing story Rebecca, I can't wait to read what you have coming up next!! <3

Uncorked is not a typical romance novel. It's full of suspense, and twists and turns. This book kept me on my toes. Just when you thought, you have it all figured out or things would calm down, another piece of the story is revealed and you have to keep going. The emotion between Chella Noon & Mitch Mariani was beautifully written. This book had me shedding tears with the characters. The pressure built just like the pressure in a bottle of good Champagne. Uncorked opened up emotions each character didn't know they had or tried to resist. This is going on my favorites shelf. Well done!!!
