K-Gr 4-- A picture book introduction to underwater life. It's a read-aloud alphabet book, but each page also contains a short, informative paragraph on the subject. Gorgeous full-color photographs illustrate such familiar marine creatures as the anemone, dolphin, jellyfish, and sea lions as well as such unusual ones as the frogfish, goby, and leafy sea dragon. The fiendish ``X'' marks the spot for buried treasure. Using unadorned upper-case letters, this is an entertaining and instructive ABC book. There might be a question of intended audience, but the vivid depiction of the marine environment makes the book useful for school projects on aquatic life and enjoyable as a seaside alphabet book or a beautiful coffee-table book for browsing. --Frances E. Millhouser, Reston Regional Lib . , VA

This book shows full colored pictures of sea animals. Like the Sea lion and the Queen angel fish. It gives info on all your favrite under water sea animals. It's an outstanding book. Being a kid, I love the sea. This book really gave me the stuff i wanted to know about the sea. Take it from a ten year old that lives in Geariga nowhere close to the sea. I never go to the libriy anymore. Like I said this book gives info and all the stuff you want to know. Like where to find them and stuff like that. It's the BEST sea book i ever will read!

Under the Sea from A to Z gets 5 *stars from me. The young readers I know completely enjoy this book. A great conversation starting book for anyone. The pictures are briliant to the eye. I work in a school and see the joy on their faces while reading this book.
