It has been said: travel is the one investment that continues to be a great investment, whether as an "arm chair" traveller, or as passenger in/on some conveyance. From cave-man until today, we humans have been always been restless - migrating from land to land, whether by land or sea. After all, that is how continents were discovered and countries formed.
In today's world, travel is getting away from it all, looking for a change of scenery, relaxing, recharging, exploring and learning; but, unfortunately hundreds and thousands of people are affected by poor economies that have caused most of us to adjust how we approach our leisure time and desire to travel. In spite of that, there really isn't any reason to give up exploring the world and its' many 'hidden' places.

About the Author

Julian H. Huffer, following six years of service in the US Air Force, assumed a number of executive positions with North American trade and professional associations as varied as the American Dental Laboratories, American Apparel Manufacturers Association, Apparel Research Foundation, Canadian Restaurant & Foodservices Association and retiring following eight years as Executive Director of the Canadian Bar Association-Ontario (now known as the Ontario Bar Association).
Having travelled extensively throughout the United States and Canada during his career, Julian chose to retire to the Caribbean island of Montserrat, from which he travelled widely around the many surrounding islands. Subsequently, after a number of years, he returned to Canada and began lengthy tours of Europe, Central and South America, via land and cruises.
It was after touring Turkey and, especially Ephesus, that he felt compelled to share other adventures with friends and family. Since Ephesus is fairly well known to tourists and he decided to explore areas and places less well-known - and so it was that Undiscovered Travel Destinations was born five years ago. Since then, Julian has carefully amassed and documented the one-hundred and fifty sights featured in this edition.
Not content with only writing Undiscovered Travel Destinations, his continuing wanderlust and 'explorations', have led him to create two blogs; one by the same name as this book, Undiscovered Travel Destinations, and the other Explore Canada.
Julian extends an invitation to one and all who are interested in reading about those 'faraway places with strange sounding names', to visit and join his blogs and continue to journey and explore with him.
