Who knew that there were so many elephant jokes in existence that they could make a whole book? Many of the punch lines use a play on the word elephant with such phrases as "elecopter, elepahtor and cinderelephant." Once readers get the hang of jokes like these the outcomes may become predictable, but still funny to imagine. Many of the pencil-drawn, black-and-white comic illustrations add to the humor. This book will keep your youngsters (and maybe you) laughing for days. The only potentially objectionable joke includes a reference to elephants with machine guns that some parents might find inappropriate for the age range this book is geared for. 2004, Kingfisher, Ages 5 up.
