Fantastic ending to a fantastic series! Rosalie has layer upon layer of stories in this paranormal romance series. It is sometimes tricky to keep in mind all of the different plot lines, but well worth the effort. This last book in the series is the pinacle in the series bringing all the pieces together and resolving some long-running mysteries in very surprising ways. Sensual in nature, the story also caused me to laugh out loud and cry real tears. It's a page burner, be prepared to stay up late finishing the book!

Independent reviewer for Archaeolibrarian, I was gifted my copy of this book. This is book 5 in the series, and you really SHOULD read books 1 through 4 first. The prequel short isn't really necessary though. Gaetan is the Healer at the Keep. When Noeh's son takes himself through the portal, Gaetan sets out to find him, and ends up saving Nikki from a Gossum attack. But in doing so, sets off a chain of events that will lead to the end of this war. I have enjoyed this series, and it's always sad to see the end come but I find myself a little disappointed and I have no idea why! Oh, don't get me wrong, Gaetan and Nikki's story is a good one, and we get why his leg is injured and just why his sister Ginnia, is how she is. Heartbreaking, when Gaetan tells Nikki that. And the Gods on Lemuria play their final pieces, and everything becomes, mostly anyway, clear. I just ...UGH!!! I just felt, good as it was, it all came to a head far too quickly, and without all the drama I was expecting! Please don't hate me, ya'll know I have to tell you how I FEEL about my books, and this one left me a little wanting. Of WHAT exactly, I've no bloody idea!! BUT!!! Besides from the fact this book brings the series to an end, I did enjoy it, and I would still highly recommend this series for those who like paranormal, or fantasy romances. Always sad to see a series come to an end. 4 solid stars **same worded review will appear elsewhere**

I love how Gaetan finally get a his HEA with Nikki. I loved his character from the previous books in this series. Rosalie Redd beautifully wraps up this series with everyone getting their HEA. I highly recommend this series. It was a bittersweet read for me as I had been anxiously awaiting Gaetan's story, but hated to see the series end.

Unforgivable Lover is the last book in the Warriors of Lemuria series, and in this one we get Gaetan's story. He has been a prominent character throughout this series, and I have been waiting with bated breath for his story to come out. I wasn't disappointed! Although Gaetan is incredibly hard on himself and doesn't see his own redeeming features, he is quick to help others. In this case, Nikki. He may blame himself for getting her mixed up in the whole situation, but he doesn't shirk from helping her adjust either. This is an incredibly fast-paced book. As it is the final one, there are a lot of loose ends that need tying up. It is for this reason that I am only giving this one four-stars. In the general 'tidy-up', I felt as though part of Gaetan's story was lost within the maelstrom of the rest. It was pretty much instantaneous for him and Nikki, and I would have liked more from both of them. On the whole, this was an excellent way to finish the series. I was dismayed, fatalistic, overjoyed, and fearful whilst reading this book. It certainly engaged my emotions, which is all I want from a book. Just the one niggle for me. As I would expect from a Rosalie Redd story, there were no editing or grammatical errors that disrupted my reading flow. The characters continue to delight, whether you like them or not. The pace is face, the transitions from one scene to the next are very smooth. I have no hesitation in recommending the series, or this book. * A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book, and my comments here are my honest opinion. * Merissa Archaeolibrarian - I Dig Good Books!
