About the Author

Born and raised in the Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans, Louisiana. Justin Marcell Russell was embedded with the history and culture that filled the Holy Cross neighborhood on Dauphine street. His grandfather was part of the Yellow Pocahontas, a Mardi Gras Indian tribe as their Wild Man, known as Wild Man Russell, this just one of many cultural influences that helped J. Marcell Russell develop his love and passion for the city of New Orleans.
