Overview

In the #1 New York Times bestseller, the former Assistant to the President and Director of Communications for the Office of Public Liaison in the Trump White House provides an eye-opening and “explosive” (The Boston Globe) look into the corruption and controversy of the current administration.

Few were a member of Donald Trump’s inner orbit longer than Omarosa Manigault Newman. Their relationship spanned fifteen years—through four television shows, a presidential campaign, and a year by his side in the most chaotic, outrageous White House in history. But that relationship came to a decisive and definitive end, and Omarosa finally shares her side of the story in this “deftly executed” (The Guardian), jaw-dropping account.

A stunning tell-all and takedown from a strong, intelligent woman who took every name and number, Unhinged is a must-read for any concerned citizen.

I will read her message with the open mind she requests. Her story, conveyed in this sample, is not far fetched and is in fact familiar!

It just proves our democracy is in trouble and unsafe. Who should the American people trust?

She learned from the master of "evil" now it's payback. Great read for people who love the gossip. She took great notes !!

I thought she did a great job with not making this book about "sour grapes" as some people have said. She even admitted when she was wrong and learned from it. I think it was a very good book! Trump supporters will not like it, obviously.

It's the first step to restore her dignity and reputations. I know she's not telling it all… Let's hear the real story. I know she knows more than she's telling.

I have NOT finished reading this book, however, from what I have read, so far, the "jury will out for a long time"

Both her and Trump are trash

I was not going to buy this book. I had had enough of the Trump saga plus I did not care for her defensive attitude in interviews. When this author said she could document everything, I changed my mind. This was a great Book. She explains why she defended him so much and why she realized she was wrong. She is a strong woman who was brought up in the projects and wanted to do something with her life.

Finally, someone brave enough and intelligent enough to speak the truth!

Hands down, this is one of the best books that I’ve ever read. I don’t understand why it isn’t #1. This book was written by the only person who was groomed by DJT that wasn’t in his own family. To me, this book is not a betrayal, but a biography of the woman who got her foot in the door and made a name for herself. Being a fan of the President, I was hesitant at reading the book when it first came out, but my interest was piqued by the release of the tapes. She tells her story from her point of view. It’s a very easy read, she even gives reference points so you the reader can refer back to the actual event, which is very cool. I’m not going to spoil the book, but seriously, you have to read it!

This book is about one women's personal account of her life and her experience in the White house. Is she opportunistic? Yes. Does it make the information she shared untruthful? No. Most of these reviews are not talking about the book, but the individual's personal opinions. Thus far, she has provided proof to back up her claims. I am anxious to see if she can validate more claims in her book.

This book is as bold and courageous as Omarosa! She is a beautiful, smart African American woman who always had our back. She should be commended for setting the record straight. I strongly recommend reading this book!

She is smart and knows her reputation is important. Why not tell her side of the story. She worked hard to get where she is. Good for her to challenge her bullies.

As a black man in New Orleans, I have to salute Omarosa for having the courage to stand up to the machine. She is one strong and inspiring woman! I'm glad I purchased this book and I'll purchase others in the future. Nothing but love for Omarosa!

‘He loved conflict, chaos, and confusion: he loved seeing people argue or fight.’ Omarosa Manigault Newman is the former Director of Communications for the Office of Public Liaison in Donald Trump’s White House, and was an aide in the Office of Presidential Personnel and the Office of the Vice President in the Clinton White House. She has served as an adjunct professor in the Howard University School of Business. Prior to joining the Trump administration, Omarosa served as a chaplain in the California State Military Reserve. She currently serves in pastoral ministry at The Sanctuary at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida. This fast reading book is what many have been waiting to appear. In this time of ‘fake news’ and the method in which Trump has elected to communicate – Tweets on Twitter – the little truth we hear from how the dysfunctional President and cabinet and even Congress operate has been the evening news as reported with gusto by brave newscasters such as Rachel Maddow. Now we have the inside story from the courageous Omarosa Manigault Newman who not only served in the White House under Trump but also was with him on THE APPRENTICE and other television shows that brought Trump to power. Omarosa discusses in raw detail about Trump’s mental instability, his racism and anti-feminism, is bigotry and his lies, the N-word tape, his interaction with Mike Pence and Paul Ryan and Melania and Ivanka and Jared Kushner, the N-word tape, and the manipulation of the FBI and investigations into the 2016 scandal. And on and on. It is all here in immensely readable form – written by a very bright lady who had the courage to leave the Trump dynasty before it self implodes. If for no other reason than catharsis, read this book. It somehow tames the fear we all have about Trump simply by putting the facts in black and white.

I’m sure Amorosa heard and actually observed worse behavior then specified in her book not only from the presiding president but from everyone. This was elementary. I would like to read a book by the fly on those walls.

Awful book and a waste of time. Sad that she is a bitter woman. She should have taken the high road and expressed appreciation for the opportunities she has had. rather than showing her bad side. Wait.....maybe she doesn't have a good side to show? I didn't like her on the Apprentice and not sure why I thought I should read her book.

You will find this book a bit frustrating, but once you read it in it’s entirety you will understand why. Omarosa reminds me of a women who enjoyed being abused by Mr. Trump. She sounds like a person who lacked confidence in herself therefore marveled being in the Trump world. Thank God she woke up and let’s hope she stays away from him.

I find it pretty hard to believe that a person of this grace and intellectual level would hang on to the coattails of this reckless example of American leadership for so long, but I guess the title UNHINGED would never have been more appropriate for this lurid tome.
