I gave this story 5 stars simply because their aren't half-star increments. I would rate the story a 4.5 in stars because I felt the story rushed a little. I loved the psychological aspect of it and the philisophical questions it rose about death, but I felt the story could have used a little more depth. The story was fast-paced like a movie and lacked a little on the characterization. I would have liked to find out a little bit more about the human in the story and a little more about the unicorn's past. That is my only gripe with the story though. I loved the fact that it was told from the unicorn's point of view and I loved the fact that nothing was as it appeared to be.
All i have to say is... I LOVE UNICORNS!!! Great book by the way. A little fast, but ok.
