He’ll do anything to protect her. Even if it means letting her go.

Tate Jackson made a big mistake. No, a monumental one. He picked the wrong place to introduce his wife, Cassie, to the alluring lifestyle they’d fantasized about.

Instinct told him to get her out of the poor excuse for an adult club—but he didn’t. And she was assaulted because of his carelessness. He’ll do anything to protect her from another traumatic experience, even if it means making the agonizing choice to convince his wife he no longer loves her.

Cassie’s not buying it. In fact, Tate is the last person she blames for that horrific night. She’s willing to give him the space he thinks he needs to get his head straight, but when divorce papers arrive, she realizes she’s out of time.

She has twenty-eight days to figure out why Tate is ruining a perfect marriage. Twenty-eight days to figure out what he’s hiding. But when she learns the truth, she has to decide if her heart can take the strain of piecing their love back together.

Product Warnings: Dirty tactics, dirtier sex, ropes, masks, guilty consciences, and love stretched so far, no one escapes unchanged. Not even you, dear reader.

Please note: This book was previously released by Samhain Publishing. This new edition contains a few slight tweaks as well as a new setting for the series.

4.5 star The story has betrayal, secrets, twists, naughty fun and heartbreak. If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first A Shot of Sin (Vault of Sin #1) This is Cassie and Tate’s story. Cassie and Tate are in love and married but after a tragic event Tate has a lot of guilt eating him alive. So he thinks the only way for them to move on is to divorce as he never wants her to know the full extent of his guilt. Cassie is willing to do anything to win back her husband. When her first plan does not work will her new friends help her with a new plan to get Tate back? Tate is fighting a battle with his heart he will always want and love Cassie but feels he needs to push her away and get her to move on. Will he be able to handle it if she moves on? What happens when he really makes her believe that she needs to move on will that be painful to watch? What will happen if the full truth of what Tate’s been hiding comes out? Will the both be able to deal with that pain? Will that be the one thing that truly makes there marriage over? Will the give up the fight to have each other or will those secrets get them to fight even more for what they once had? I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a good read. Look forward to learning more about Brute in a future book. Eden knows how to pull you in so you feel the emotions right along with the characters she makes you fall in love with. The scenes in the Vault are naughty and oh so fun. Can’t wait for more from all the players in this series. I recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story from this author.

4.5 Stars - The Vault Is Still Sizzling Tate and Cassie Jackson had the perfect marriage. They were the perfect couple, each others' best friend and other half. Nothing could separate them. Until that night, the night that pushed boundaries and changed things completely. Now Cassie is alone, wondering how her perfect marriage came undone. And Tate, unable to forgive himself for what happened, is left trying to imagine a life without Cassie. As the second book in the Vault of Sin series by Eden Summers, UNION OF SIN brings the same heat as SHOT OF SIN (Book 1). Tate/T.J. is no stranger to the kinkier side of love. He and his partners, Leo and Brute, run The Vault, a very successful club catering to those seeking entertainment of a very specific nature. From the time that he and Cassie got together, T.J. has enjoyed introducing her to a different side of herself. But when a night meant to expand their sexual horizons goes horribly wrong, T.J. refuses to drag Cassie down any further, choosing instead to give her her freedom so that she can find a safer love. While still full of the steam and sizzle of SHOT OF SIN, UNION OF SIN is a far angstier book, dealing with the darker emotions of people willing to go to whatever lengths necessary to make each other happy. That being said, I sailed through this read, eager to see just how T.J. and Cassie would resolve their love stand-off. Besides T.J. and Cassie, I loved catching up with Leo, Brute, and Shay, and am looking forward to seeing Brute get his HEA in the next book in the series. In the meantime, an easy 4.5 steamy and angsty stars for UNION OF SIN. Grab it and prepare for another a no holds barred, fan yourself and put aside your hang-ups action, in true Eden Summers style.

4.25 stars--UNION OF SIN is the second installment in Eden Summers adult, contemporary Vault of Sin erotic, romance series focusing on three friends-Leo, TJ (Tate) and Brute (Brian)- who own a private sex club known as the Vault of Sin where anything goes between consenting adults. This is TJ (Tate Jackson), and Cassie Jackson’s storyline-a second chance at love and a happily ever after. UNION OF SIN can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous storyline is imparted where necessary. Told from dual third person perspectives (TJ and Cassie) UNION OF SIN follows the breakdown and rebuilding of TJ and Cassie’s marriage. TJ holds himself responsible for the attempted assault by another male, against his wife, and in this our hero has withdrawn any and all affection leading to the disillusionment of their marriage. Six months after the attack, TJ moves out of the house leaving a heartbroken and confused Cassie behind. What ensues are Cassie’s attempts to uncover the truth about her husband, and her need to win back the man she loves at any cost. UNION OF SIN finds TJ lost in a world of guilt and grief. One year earlier, to keep his fantasies alive, TJ brought his wife into a different kind of sex club where things went from bad to worse in a short period of time. TJ’s need to punish himself for the wrongs against his wife found our hero destroying the love and the heart of the woman who calls to his soul. The seduction scenes are intriguing; the $ex scenes between our leading couple of impassioned and heartbreaking. The secondary and supporting characters include TJ’s Vault of Sin partners Leo, and girlfriend Shay ( A Shot of Sin #1), and Brian (aka Brute). Like many ensemble storylines of partnerships, the Leo and Brute play an integral role in TJ’s need to accept and understand his guilt and grief. At times, the advice was harsh and real. UNION OF SIN is an emotional storyline. I may have shed a tear or three; I was a bit of a mess as I was pulled into the drama of one man’s guilt, and the woman whose heartbreak was too much to bear. The premise is sensitive and profound; the characters are tragic, emotional and intense; the romance is a slow build to a happily ever after. UNION OF SIN is an erotic look at two people whose love for one another is full of anguish and pain due to a misdirected guilt about the what ifs and whys.

I RECEIVED AN ARC COPY FOR MY HONEST REVIEW This book touched my senses, I laughed, Cried, Angry, and even wanted to slap Tate. This book centers around a "Kink" clubs where the unthinkable happens. Where trust and honesty is a must apparently Tate missed that memo. The book and characters progress nicely and was enjoyable to read. I read the first book and intend to continue to read this Authors future books. The only negative I have is in one scene Tate leaves Cassie bound and alone. That is a big No No in this lifestyle. Although while reading it I understand where the Author was coming from, I feel this scene could have been written better.
