Entertaining, light read. Characters are not as fully developed as in "paper" books, but solid (if predictable) storyline and a satisfying ending.

Unleased is the third book in the Elements trilogy. Taramon was been taken over by the dark army, Ashan has the queen, and Kyla and Jethro's love for each other has only grown despite not being able to be together. Will everyone survive, will the dark win. Read to find out what happens. Melissa will keep you on your toes guessing. You will not be disappointed with this book.

There's plenty of romantic tension as well as adventure in this third installment to the Elements Trilogy. Kyla and Jethro travel halfway across the world to battle men and monsters, magicians and demons. Along the way, they make friends and form alliances with dragons and trolls. And at the end of the quest to save their kingdom, they're still in love. But Kyla is promised to Jethro's cousin and is trying very hard to do the responsible thing. Melissa Pearl kept me guessing about how things would turn out, right up until almost the last word!

I had no idea what to expect with this final book. All I knew was that it was going to be brilliant - I mean, Melissa Pearl wrote it. Nuff said. And my, was I right! One of the best finales I have ever read, Unleashed certainly did unleash everything at me. I was so sad at the end though... because it was the final book in the series. I felt like I was in mourning. The story though, true to form, was absolutely fabulous. Kyla, Jethro, Athra, Flynt - I just totally loved them all. Oh and the bad guys? Gosh, I HATED them! This series certainly unleashed all my emotions.

** spoiler alert ** Thank you to the author for providing me with a Earc in exchange for a honest review SPOILERS AHEAD!!! This book picks up where the last one left off. The city of Taramon has fallen to the black army and all hope seems lost. All the woman and children have been taken by Safeer to the city of Mezrah and the King Ashan. The men and Athra have been captured and are left in the dungen of Taramon and they think left to rot, but that is not the case, the King Ashan has a plan for the men, athra and taramon. He also has a plan for the woman. You need to read the book to find out what Kyla and Jethro have finally accepted the Orb and light into their bodies, so they now need to spread the word of Oron and the Light. They now have all Four Elements in their possession. Along the way to the final battle, Kyla, Jethro and Athra all have to overcome major obstacles in their way to defeat the Darkness. I cant say anything more without giving it all away, except to say that I was extremely happy with the way the author did this book and how it ended. Ive always loved Ms Pearl’s writing style and to me it just keeps getting better and better and makes it extremely hard to put her books down. If you have never read anything by this author then I suggest you do, she is an amazing author. I cant wait to see what she writes next and I know il be very happy to buy this book in paperback so it can have pride of place on my Faves bookcase.
