Chelsea's hottie Blake Morgan III has reemerged from a nasty breakup. His marriage was a frigid disaster beyond repair, and he vows to be single-forever. Bruised, but still hot in Prada, he creates his Seven Desires wish list, his sexiest imaginings. Blake soon realizes there's only one man he may trust to make these uninhibited intentions come to fruition: his best friend Miguel Santana.

Lower East Side multimedia artist extraordinaire Miguel Santana may be known as the cocky Latin stud in the city, but all he's wanted since college was Blake's hand in marriage. He was livid when Blake walked down the aisle with the wrong guy. Miguel has his own list titled the Seven Needs, which are quite contrary to Blake's dirty-boy deeds. They involve serious commitments, which may leave his new-to-the-singles-scene buddy sprinting for the door, destroying any hopes Miguel has for happiness.

Can these two hunks conquer their intimate fears and love one another as only best friends can? Join the star-studded cast in The Manhattanites series and see for yourself!

In a nutshell, I F’love this book! It's an emotional roller coaster that you seriously won’t want to get off. I feel I must start with this because I know a lot of people are going to have an issue with it, and then we are going to move on to the awesomeness that is, Avery Aster! If you are hoping for a straight up standalone M/M, then this book is not for you. Sadly, this isn’t Blake’s story, or a standalone. This is more a Manhattanites story. It has Major life events from everyone all rolled into one and if you haven't read the other's, you may have a hard time keeping up. Now, while I f’love the girls hard, I was a little . . . . sad that they kind of just took over, in true Lex, Taddy and Vive style, what was meant to be Blake and Mig’s story. BUT I still f'love this story and the gang that I cannot justify giving it less than 5 stars. Now, on to the awesomeness. After being in a loveless and sexless marriage for the last 5 years that was riddled with lies, secrets and cheating, on Diego's part, Blake is skeptical that he will get his HEA. With the divorce finally final from nutcase Diego, he is back on the market with a new attitude and with the help of his friends, has one hot list of insane sexual desires to fulfill. And what better person to help him fulfill those desire then his best friend, Miguel. Only problem, Miguel has been in love with Blake since the day he laid eyes on him. Miguel is still in the closet about his sexuality with his family, but the majority of Manhattan knows him as the "Top Player." His close friends also know that for the last 10 years he has been in love with the man he let walk down the aisle with the wrong guy. Only Blake is clueless on that fact. Now he has the chance of something he has always wanted. Blake in his bed. Get ready for off the charts hot sex, some water sports (and I am not talking about water polo, I'm talking the "golden" kind hahaha) extreme topping, losing the V-Card and some very sweet, tender and down right hilarious moments. What starts as one week of Mig's Needs for Blake's Desires turns into something much more. While these two struggle with letting the other in, they learn about each other and more importantly, they learn about themselves. Only question is, can Miguel's heart handle it when the week is up, or will Blake have a change of heart about relationships? As I said earlier, this is a Manhattanite's story, so on to the girls, Thor and Diego, or what I can say without giving away major spoilers. In previous books it has mainly been all fun loving, sexy as sin and carefree. That is not the same entirely the same for this one. We get very little drama from Thor and Taddy in this one, but Vive and Lex happily take the spotlight. Vive has always been the party-goer of the group, but when you start passing out and having booze for breakfast, something has to change. Either your friends, or yourself. Lex is living the dream. Her company is skyrocketing, she has her adorable son M2, her amazing family & friends and is set to marry her real life Prince, seriously what could go wrong? Well, everything when not everyone is as happy. Medical emergencies, secrets, shocking documents from the dead, drunken heated arguments, rehab, love, family, laughter, FBI and a canceled wedding is just a taste of what these crazy Manhattanites have in store for you! Seriously guys, I can't tell you much more without spoilers, seriously go get it!

I don't usually read m/m genre books but I've loved the books in this series so far so I went for it and had no regrets at all. Blake Morgan III is a hot sexy guy that is just coming out of a divorce and is disillusioned about love. So he decides that he is going to remain single. He makes a fantasy list of things he wants to do but realizes that the only person he wants to do them with is his best friend Miguel. Miguel has wanted Blake from the moment he saw him but hesitated and lost his chance so he became his friend never thinking he would ever get his chance again. Some friends send Blake's list to Miguel and when he sees it he knows this might his last chance with Blake. He makes a condition with Blake and then they both embark on a journey of discovery. Blake isn't looking for anything serious with Miguel and thinks that Miguel is of like mind. But as they delve into each other's hidden fantasies things change and they grow closer. Miguel want to prove to Blake's that he can make a commitment to him. Both of them face many struggles in their relationship that only makes them stronger for it. I loved this book it was funny fast paced and had such amazing characters you don't want it to end. I would recommend this to any book lover out there. Even if you've never read a book of the m/m genre you'll love it.

Blake Morgan III has just gotten out of a really bad marriage. He has no interest in finding another lover or god forbid husband anytime soon. His marriage was a disaster of epic proportions. It's the single life for him. He creates a Seven Desires wish list as a joke while out with his besties one night. Blake never expected the hotter than hot best friend Miguel Santana to get his hands on it. Now this Latin hottie who has loved Blake from afar since college seizes the opportunity to get Blake in his life and his bed once and for all. Miguel knows Blake is hurting from his failed marriage. But he also knows that Blake married the wrong guy. He should have been his years ago, but Miguel stepped aside and put himself in the friend zone. Now, finally Miguel decides it's time Blake knows what it's like to be loved, cherished and desired by the right guy. Can Miguel convince Blake that a serious lifetime commitment with him won't break his heart? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I have read the other books in this series and was unsure if I would get into Blake's story. In the other books, Blake was kinda blah for me as a character so I didn't think his story would be all that exciting. I liked Blake in Undressed and Unscrupulous but I had never read a story where the main characters were two men. I have no problem with that kind of a relationship, but wondered if I would be interested since I can't relate to the attraction. I have to say that Avery made me love this story. Blake and Miguel are just adorable. Their love for each other is terrifically portrayed. The drama that unfolds, keeping them apart is riveting. I really like this story and as only Avery Aster can do she made me love these guys and their journey to happily ever after. The sex scenes have some light BDSM to them and they also were pretty dirty, but so well written that they flowed perfectly with the storyline. The friendship of Taddy, Lex, Vive and Blake is fun and I love reading about it. This group should be a cable series I would definitely watch it. *Received an ARC in exchange for an honest review*

Finally!! The story we’ve all been waiting for!! Miguel has been in love with Blake for ten years and, seeing him walk down the aisle with another man broke his heart. Being always the “best friend” hasn’t been easy and, as much as he wants them gone, his feelings are even stronger than before. Blake is finally free from a marriage that left him broken and disillusioned. Trying to piece his life back together is not easy but he’s determined not to fail and, with the help of his friends and a Seven Desires list, he might just find what he’s been always looking for. A piece of advice – you might want to read this book where you can have easy access to a shower. You’ll need lots of cold ones, trust me. Avery is one wicked, wicked woman. I mean that in the best way *wink* As you probably noticed in the previous novels in this series, every story is very complex and so much more than an erotic tale. I had a little bit of a difficult time getting into this book in the beginning because the focus kept changing from Miguel and Blake to Lex and Massimo and it was a little bit confusing. Once I got used to it though, it was so easy to read. Blake and Miguel finally have the chance to set things straight and give into the attraction they feel for each other. Who better to help Blake with his list than Miguel who is an excellent Dom and can give him exactly what he needs. We see Blake evolve from a insecure and sometimes shy person into a sexy, adventurous sub who blossoms under the care of his lover. Their journey from best friends to lovers and, finally, partners, is one hell of a hot ride *ahem! phew!* and, if you liked them before, you’ll fall in love this time around. I have mentioned Massi and Lex before. Well, Unsaid isn’t only about Blake and Miguel. Looks like the surprises aren’t over for the other couple. While busy planning a wedding and taking care of her baby and business, Lex discovers more about her parents and some of those findings are quite shocking and unexpected. A nice twist to the story which made it even more interesting. Actually, this isn’t surprising when we’re talking about Avery Aster. If there’s one thing I’ve learned about her writing style is that things get a strange and totally unpredictable turn when you least expect it. Not a bad thing especially if it keeps the book from dragging and becoming boring. She sure knows how to keep her readers on their toes. All in all, Unsaid was a very good book and I highly recommend it. One thing- I know the description says this can be read as a stand alone but my advice is to start from the beginning. There are too many characters and so many things happening that you’ll have a hard time understanding who’s who and what’s happening. They are all friends and they interact a lot with each other and are always present in each other’s lives so their stories connect in one way or another. Other than that I don’t know what to say except, READ THE BOOK!! You’ll love it! NOTE: This is an M/M erotic novel with scenes of intense BDSM play. If you’re not comfortable with either of these scenarios you might want to skip this one. Happy Reading!

Avery Aster continues to blow my mind with no-holds barred, snappy, witty dialog that has me laughing out loud every time I step into the world of the Manhattanites. This time we focus on Blake, the gay best friend that has seemed to settle for what he's got in life. He has always been this amazing, supportive friend to Lex, Taddy and Vive. When he met Diego, well, he thought he found true love but that ended up not being the case. As he works to restore his confidence, Vive and Thor push him out of his comfort zone and directly into Miguel's path. Blake has had a crush on Miguel for years, truly should have had the courage to pursue him instead of taking the easier path with Diego. Miguel loves Blake but has always been afraid to follow his heart; will this latest challenge be enough to get him to open up to Blake allowing love in for both of them? Will Blake have the courage to be open for a love a second time? All the while we get more drama from Lex, Taddy and Vive as we approach Lex's wedding. Jump in for a fantastic ride with the Manhattanites!

I have been waiting and waiting for Blake's book and I'm so excited it finally arrived!!! The Manhattanites are such a fantastic group of friends that you just can't help but fall into their lives and never want to leave! Blake is such a quiet character through the other books. He's their solid backbone and you never get the feeling that his life isn't all that he wants. We get to see into his real relationship with Diego and what an eye opener!!! Blake just really broke my heart, I wanted to reach out and hug him and tell him everything would be ok, or at least mix him a good strong drink and take him out on the town. The love story between Blake and Miguel is years in the making so it's no surprise that there are HUGE fireworks when they get together. The intensity with which they come together was mind blowing and awe inspiring. The other aspect of the book that stands out to me is the incredible acceptance of all of the characters, flaws and all. I love that in each book we get a little update on what's going on with the others without losing focus on the main characters in the current story. I don't know what's up for this group but I can tell you, it's going to be hot, exciting and more sparkly than the biggest diamonds and I can't wait!

I was offered this book in exchange for an honest review. This is definitely and 18+ book. That being said: It's a heat wave, and i would suggest having a cool glass of water and and a fan close by! LOL! Best book in the series bar none! I have read several of the book in the series and Unsaid is by far the best book so far. I loved getting to know Blake,Miguel,Thor and some of the other character more intimately and was stunned by some of the revelations made also.(no spoilers allowed!) LOL! I loved this book,it had all of the elements that i look for in a great love story/erotic/m-m romance. the characters were intriguing and had depth and drew me into the story effortlessly. Her writing flows across the page like the a cool glass of water on a hot day and seems to catch up in the story before you realize you've been caught in the heat wave. I found myself becoming angry, sad, happy and all the other emotions right along with the hero(s). if you like a book that will reach out and grab you by the heart strings then this is the one for you. Avery Aster has been a top pick of mine for awhile now and will continue to be so far into the future with books like Unsaid to read. thank you Avery the story was wonderful!

Great book, Fast Paced and Exciting..I loved Blake from the first book and couldnt wait to read his story. I was hoping he ended up with Miguel but as we know he ended with Diego but the beginning of this story has him divorced and single. I so didnt see Diego's crazy coming and it lead to a great twist in his story. Loved catching up with everyone from the gang. I also need Thor to have his own story..Blake deserves his happy ending and hoping Vive story is even better. Keep it up Avery
