About the Author

E.J. Fleming has been writing and researching old Hollywood topics for over 30 years and has written 6 earlier books on movieland topics from Hollywood scandal and death to Wallace Reid and Paul Bern. He has appeared on the AMC series "Behind the Screen" and several documentaries about Hollywood and the movies and continues to craft fascinating stories about everything "movies." His latest project is a book about the brutal bullying and suicide of Phoebe Prince, an Irish immigrant driven to death in small-town New England, which has already been optioned for a television movie. His earlier book, "The Fixers: Eddie Mannix, Howard Strickling, and the MGM Studio Publicity Machine," has also been optioned and is in development. E.J. lives outside Chicago with Barbara, his wife of 34 years, and their children Abby, Teddy, and Colin.
