About the Author

A Jersey Girl transplanted to the Sunshine State, JB (you can call her Jen) writes laugh-out-loud suspense and mysteries, along with goosebump-raising thrillers.

She also guzzles coffee, spoils her dog, wastes endless hours daydreaming, and does her best to be a "cool chick" (but if you ever see her running, swimming, or biking, you'll know how dismally she fails).

Grab me from the first page and did not let go till the last page was turned. Highly recommend and I sure hope there will be more "coop and kimberly" stories. Please!!!!!!

Had me throughout the book wanting to read just one more chapter, then after that one, just one more. Left the book wide open for a series, looking forward to that if that's the plan for Kimberly and Cooper. If so have a proofreader standing by because the autocorrect on J B Lynn's computer frequently put in an incorrect word that left you rereading the paragraph to figure out what was said.

Until Proven Innocent by J. B. Lynn was the first of her romantic suspense books that I have read but it won't be the last. Smooth and fast paced plot with plenty of twists in the story to keep me guessing. The characters are complex but I loved each one of them. I sure hope J. B. writes more about Meadowville because I want to go back and visit with Kimberly, Cooper, Eli and Kimberly's grandmother.

This book was completely different from the other books I have read from this author, but I highly recommend it! As always, the characters are well written and you are pulled into the story from the beginning and can’t wait to find out what happens on the next page. This will keep you reading late into the night and you won’t be disappointed!

I'm a huge fan of JB Lynn's Hitwoman series and was shocked when I read First Victim. Never realized she did romantic suspense, but WOW, she can do the hell out of romantic suspense! I honestly could not put this book down. Loved Kimberly & Cooper's story and am looking forward to what other secrets lie in Meadowville.

This is an engaging tale about a woman who was falsely convicted of murder. On her way to prison, the transportation van she was in crashed, allowing her the opportunity to escape. After living on the run for years, she learns that her conviction has been overturned. After living in fear for years, adjusting to life as a free woman is a challenge. She returns home to live with her grandma, but the community has not forgotten her and many still believe she is a killer. Almost immediately, she meets a PI that she is attracted to.....but he has secrets of his own. This is a compelling book that I hope is the beginning of a series. I loved the characters and found myself rooting for Kimberly and drooling over Coop. If you like romantic suspense, you will love this book. Additional notes: this is a relatively "clean" book. While it deals with extreme crimes, there is very little (almost none) swearing and no graphic sex. This is an adult book, but it is one I would have let my daughter read during her teens.
