Untouchable is the second book is Ms. SaFleur's Elite Doms of Washington. You do not need to have read the previous book in this series to enjoy this or understand what is going on. Several of the characters from the previous book are in this one as well. Dominant Carson Drake is a Washington attorney who is not looking for love. He gives submissives one weekend and that is all. When London Chantelle - his company's PR person - enters Club Accendos - a BDSM club, he gives her the same deal: 48 hours to earn her submission. London wants to understand the darker side of her longings and agrees. But, 48 hours may not be enough and as outside forces threaten London and her livelihood, Carson will call on the power of the Tribunal to protect her. Even as he moves to protect London, their own assumptions about love may break them. Elizabeth SaFleur knows how to write a good BDSM novel, stressing the importance of communication and consent, while also allowing for the fantasy inherent in a romance novel. While I thought that London and Carson fell in love far too quickly, their BDSM relationship was lovely to read. I really like the emphasis on advocacy for submissives and that London was not left to flounder on her own, even with Carson at her side. For those readers who are sensitive to it, there is a level of masochism displayed and an attempted (but not successful) rape scene (not by Carson). Much of the novel takes place over a short period of time; while Carson and London are aware of each other on a professional level, that weekend is the first opportunity that they have to get to know each other on a personal level. I would have liked to have gotten to know Carson a bit more - much of his past remains hidden - and I thought that London was, at times, a bit hot and cold for reasons that weren't really clear. Nonetheless, this was a truly enjoyable read and one I wholeheartedly recommend to any who enjoy BDSM novels.

Wow, this was a marathon read for me. Cover to Cover in about three hours, as I could not put it down. The author did an awesome job writing the action packed 48 hours plus the aftermath that made up this whole story. The characters are great - they are not just names on a paper, they all brought to life with the author's words. The two main characters both are given a traumatic experience (or in London's case - several) in their background that shapes their character and affects the way that they interact with the opposite sex. The interactions between all the characters and especially with Benny just feel so real. The descriptions of what it is like to live and work in D.C. were vivid. At this point in time, I have to say that this is my favorite Elite Doms book (I have read books 1, 2, 3, and Jackson). There are several scenes but the story alone without the sex is well worth reading and very entertaining.

WOW!!!! This is the third story by Elizabeth SaFleur in her Elite Doms of Washington series, and it just keeps getting better and better. I love how the stories intersect and build, but stand on their own. The action here is intriguing and non-stop. Warning ---this book is hard to put down! It involves BDSM and very clearly SaFleur knows what she is talking about. She writes with grace and ease. The characters are beautifully developed and grow during the story. The plot unfolds with complexity and in unexpected directions. The erotica is hot and steamy. What a fabulous combination! I hope SaFleur comes out with the next in the series soon and that these characters continue to have staring roles in the world of The Elite Doms of Washington.

I am unfamiliar with the erotic romance genre so I was not sure what to expect. I can’t say that I actually enjoyed this story, but I did find it interesting, although sometimes a bit predictable. As the story of London and Carson and their relationship as dominant and submissive developed, I was anticipating that they would explore a deeper relationship and was not disappointed. I was interested in the “rules of etiquette” established in a club promoting BDSM. Those rules created some of the tension and suspense in the story that kept me interested. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
