Upper Room Disciplines 2007: A Book of Daily Devotions based on 0 ratings. 1 reviews.
I read this book most every morning. It is a great start to the day. Each week's devotions are written by a different person. Most of the contributers are associated with the american United Methodist Church but some are from other denominations and/or countries. The range of contributers includes Anglicans, Catholics, and Baptists; Canadians, South Africans, Koreans and Australians. (By the way I am an Anglican living in Australia)Format: One page per day. Each day covers a different bible passage from the following Sunday's lectionary reading. Then a short homely, or devotion based on the reading. Completed by a prayer and/or meditation.Pros: ~ Wide range of excellent contributers~ Follows the lectionary which really adds to my enjoyment of the Sunday service.~ Great start to the dayCons:I Can't think of any.
