Buy this great anthology immediately! 3 of my favorite authors have 3 of my favorite books included. Totally worth it just for these books!! Jana Aston, Helena Hunting and Penny Reid's books are just awesome and this is a perfect way to get a taste for their funny, quirky works. My review of Wrong: Okay, so I kept seeing people raving about this book and there may have been promos that I saw as well and finally I gave in and bought this book... Soooooo glad that I did as I loved it!! Fun, romantic, hot and a story that kept me turning the pages. The author managed to make the whole Gynecologist storyline work - so kudos to her! If you have any reservations about it - don't! It's a truly great book and I am one-clicking now to get the rest of the books in the series! Don't hesitate to pick this one up!

This is book one in a series that will capture your heart, blow your mind and melt your heart! Wrong by Jana Aston Wrong is the debut novella by indie author, Jana Aston. Let me tell you, there is a lot right with Wrong. I adored main characters Sophie and Luke. The secondary characters are a mixed bag. The hilarity begins soon after that opening scene of the book. Dry humor is sprinkled throughout the story; there is just enough humor to make the book fun without it taking over the romance/love story. Ms. Aston has paced her plot well. There is never a point where the story drags or goes off on a tangent. Each scene revealed something about the main characters. I liked that readers (and to some degree the main characters) had to think about what was revealed about a character and how that fit into the story instead of the author “telling” readers what it meant. Overall, Wrong by Jana Aston is a great first outing by an indie author. I LOVED the humor in the story. Rough Edge by C.D. Reiss’ is a ground breaking series starter. Ms. Reiss explores marital relationships and devotion and how they are impacted by trauma, abuse, and mental health. Only a talented storyteller like Ms. Reiss could also add in a bit of suspense and mystery to the mix. Ms. Reiss’ writing is emotive. Her characters are sympathetic, and their story is compelling. Two doctors who have been through the Hell of active duty are now married and civilian. They are looking forward to meaningful practices and a quiet life together. However, there are dark, disturbed forces tracking them like hungry wolves. Only Trick by Jewel E. Ann From the synopsis to the end of the book, the author takes her readers on an incredible journey. The main character, Trick, turns out to be quite the treat (pun intended) as he progresses from woman-hating, gay homeless man to vulnerable dude with amnesia to boyfriend material. The friendship he develops with physician's assistant Darby is absolutely charming. As these two explore a more intimate relationship, the angst skyrockets.

BEST "Billionaire" for your Valentine! Julia Kent's "Shopping for a Billionaire" series has everything I love in a romance - a realistic heroine, a dreamy hero, one of the best "meet cute" ever written, and a wacky supporting cast. It's laugh out loud funny, sexy, a little angsty, and sweetly romantic. In short, it's a perfect Valentine read.

WRONG by Jana Aston: 5 STARS There's only two things I can say about this book (everything else you can already read in everyone's reviews lol) ... One... It has been a LONG time since a book had me from word ONE ... I had tears running down my face from laughing so hard thru the majority of this great story! and Two ... Just relax and enjoy the crazy that is .... wrong :) CONSOLATION by Corinne Michaels: 5 STARS ROUGH EDGE by CD Reiss: 4 STARS I know this has been said a million times, but I just can’t come up with a better word than explosive to describe what I just read. Not gonna lie, it took me three tries to finish the book but that has nothing to do with the book itself and everything to do with me. I wasn’t in the right place mentally to appreciate this story for what it is until I was, because it was darker than dark. Rough Edge is exactly what the title implies, rough and edgy. There was a feeling of anxiety/ edginess within me when I read the installment. Every time I turned a page I was expecting something explosive and it didn’t disappoint. There’s not much to tell you about the story itself at this point because this is just the first installment. However, I will say this … pay attention to the reviews so you understand the content before you one-click. This is an intensely dark story and my hunch is that it’s only going to get darker. Be in the right place in your head before you begin. I would hate for anyone to disparage this story just because your head wasn’t in it. C.D. Reiss has proven time and time again that she is a powerful word wizard. This story might just catapult her into a whole other dimension or word wizard-y! ESCORT by Skye Warren: 5 STARS I think this book has a huge advantage because it’s in the male POV. Seeing this story thru Hugo’s eyes made this extraordinary. Honestly, I don’t think it would have worked at all in Bea’s POV. Anywho … the story had an electric charge to it. Hugo bleed charisma and magnetism. He wasn’t just sexy on the outside, but also the inside. But he was also very modest and maybe a little shy. I know that sounds like the opposite of what I just said, but that’s Hugo for ya …. Bea was a beautiful soul. I loved all her different layers. Especially was the story started to progress and they become more than just lovers. These two were truly meant to be. The author has really developed two unlikely pairings to be very likely. (that seemed wordy lol) Bottom line, this is the story of two souls lost in their own darkness that brought each other into the light. It’s a must read, imo. The rest of the books in this anthology have been on my TBR for a while and I cannot wait to jump in and enjoy these very well-known authors!

Shopping for a billionaire by Julia Kent is a great start to her Shopping series. I love that Shannon isn’t your typical heroine and Declan lives her anyway. This series is full of comedy, love, and family. Love them all!

Such an amazing collection of stories! This Valentines Days & Nights anthology has so many amazing books inside! There is a little bit of everything included for a reader's pleasure. Pucked by Helena Hunting is just laugh out loud goodness. This was one of the first hockey romances I read and boy did I devour it! Violet is just one of a kind with her unfiltered mouth and crazy ideas. Who would think of creating a cape to put on their boyfriends Super MC? Alex Waters is yummy and sexy and once he committed to Violet he was the perfect book boyfriend. Something in the Way by Jessica Hawkins is pure angst! Oh Lord did this book make my stomach hurt! I was absolutely obsessed with Lake and Manning. I wanted so badly for these two to be together, but obviously something was in the way, or someone, I should say. That someone being Lake's sister Tiffany. This is one of those stories where so many factors stood in the way of these two people being together right now. I don't know how I made it through this story, but I did and I loved it and the wait for the next book in their series was pure torture! Of the best kind... Wrong by Jana Aston is a refreshingly funny, entertaining story that had me giggling all the way through. What do you do when you find out the guy you've been crushing on turns out to be the Gynecologist who's getting ready to your most intimate lady parts? Sophie was like my spirit sister who worried about things like, should she leave her socks on during her exam? The chemistry between Luke and Sophie was intense and hot! The bedroom antics were crazy sexy and I just really, really enjoyed reading this story! An amazing debut book for Jana! When I finished reading Rough Edge by CD Reiss, my first thought was, this is one f*cked up mindtrip! CD brings us the story of Caden and Greyson who met while serving in the military, in a war zone no less, and proceed to fall in love and start a life together. The story itself is so intricate and multilayered and complex that I spent alot of time not understanding what the heck was happening, but that is not a negative comment. It just means that CD captured me, hook, line and sinker and I was obsessed with trying to figure out all that was going on. This book really stretched my mind and altered my thought processes on human behaviors, and once you finish this first book you will want to immediately dive into book 2 to get answers! Not to mention that Caden and Greyson together are scorchingly hot in the bedroom! That area might stretch you out of your comfort zone as well, just sayin' Corinne Michaels really put my heart through the wringer with Consolation! I don't know how I managed to laugh at something but cry at the same time, but I did. Natalie is trying her best to raise her daughter alone after her husband is killed in action. Liam is her husband's best friend and steps in when he realizes that Natalie isn't doing as great as she wants everyone to believe. What ensues is two people who are both trying to heal in their own ways, who develop an attraction to each other that they fight, Natalie because she feels she's betraying her late husband's memory, and Liam because he's breaking the code of the Navy brotherhood. Be prepared to shed some tears and fall in love with Dreamboat (Liam, as he is known to Corinne's readers). I haven't had a chance to read the other four stories in this anthology yet, but I will fix that right away!

What a spectacular collection of romance stories by nine very talented authors! Here are my thoughts on what I've read so far and can'e wait to read the rest! ~ SOMETHING IN THE WAY by Jessica Hawkins This poignant and touching love story is not your ordinary romance. It is a forbidden tale about Star-crossed lovers and their epic love for each other. It starts at the beginning when a 16 yr. old Lake Kaplan first meets mysterious and rugged, Manning Sutter. Lake has always done what she is told and still idolizes her father. He wants great things for her, so she is totally focused on achieving those goals. Lakes older sister, Tiffany, is rebellious, wild and carefree. She sees Lake talking to Manning and decides that he will be her next conquest. Manning is a flawed and broken hero who works hard and wants to be better. Something about Lake calls to him and he is torn by his need to protect her and stirrings of feelings he doesn't want to acknowledge. Lake has never thought about love and lust, like her sister, but Manning causes sensations to surface that she doesn't quite know how do handle. She does know that they have a special connection and they grow to genuinely care for each other. But there are those that would not understand their friendship and it is dangerous for both of them. I really cared for all the characters, even tho they would frustrate me at times, they were well developed and honest. The story line was so engaging I couldn't put it down. This is a moving and emotional story of love, redemption, trust, sacrifice, and consequences. It brought out so many extreme emotions and I loved every minute of it! I did not see the twist this would take and it left me stunned! I can't wait for the next book! ~ CONSOLATION by Corinne Michaels This is the first book in Corinne Michael's Consolation Duet and the third book in her Salvation Series. In the first books we met Aaron & Natalie (Lee) Gilcher. Aaron worked for Jackson Cole and was killed by an IED on a trip to Afghanistan. Natalie was pregnant at the time and had her baby, Arabelle, by the time they were able to bury his remains, 3 months later. Consolation picks up at this point. Natalie is struggling with the loss of her husband. He had retired from the SEALS and she had a false sense of safety from all the fear of loss she felt when he was deployed. Liam was like a brother to Aaron with an unbreakable bond and also a close friend to Natalie. In the following months Natalie was drowning in her grief for her husband and mourning the loss of her perfect marriage to a hero. Loneliness consumed her but she put on a facade for all her friends and family. Her daughter was the only reason she had to get out of bed in the morning and now was her whole world. No one could get through to her until Liam showed up on her door. He is now living close by and wants to be there for her in anyway he can. He is so patient with her struggles to make peace with Aaron's death and to finally love him and want a future with him. It is delightful to see Lee come out of her shell and blossom into the vibrant, fun loving young woman and mother she should be. This is a beautiful story of love and loss, loyalty and deception, happiness and heartache. I loved Liam and Natalie and this breathtaking love story and am excited to find out what is in store for them next!

Something in the Way: I'm having troubles finding the words to explain how beautiful this book is. Lake and Manning have an immediate connection the minute they meet, and it's so well written that, despite their age difference, you pull for them from the very start. It's not instalove. It's more subtle, more beautiful, more everything. The reasoning behind Manning's protectiveness over Lake is heartbreaking. I wanted to wrap my arms around him and do everything in my power to soothe him. And while it's completely understandable why he acts the way he does towards Lake, at times I wanted to slap him across the back of the head and tell him to stop. I loved Lake's progression and growth. From the naïve and innocent little girl she is when she first meets Manning, to the less naïve, stronger, and more bold girl she becomes as their friendship progresses. How she stands up to her sister and Manning, how she starts to do what she wants instead of always doing what she's told. It's like you see her grow up right in front of your eyes. I couldn't help but cheer her on. Something in the Way is a fantastic read, and I'll be waiting on pins and needles to read more of Lake and Manning's story. PUCKED: I really enjoyed this book. Violet was hilarious and I loved how sweet Alex was. They were both so awkward and just perfect for each other. This was my first HH book, but it certainly won't be my last.

Excellent set of books!! My review is for Escort by Skye Warren Bea and Hugo’s story was very sad and sexy all at once! Their storyline brought out a lot of emotions from me with things I’ve struggled with in the past. So I liked that I connected with the characters of a more personal level. The chemistry and love that blossomed between the two was very hot and loved every second of it! Loved seeing some familiar faces and hopefully some secondary characters get their own stories!! Definitely a must read!!

AH-mazing stories by AH-mazing authors! PUCKED - HELENA HUNTING Hockey is hot! Hockey players are hotter! But Alex? He is the epitome of heat! Violet was crazy! An adorable kind of crazy! Her mouth and mind don't know filter or limits, and she made me laugh so hard like I don't remember laughing about a book before ! I myself felt ashamed and blushed about some scenes, it was amazing and I kept my smile during the whole book! Alex is hot! Like really hot! Like throwing-my-panties-away-because-they're-melting, I-need-to-find-this-man, is-there-an-Alex-out-there-waiting-for-me kind of hot! He is also so sweet! He is always so polite, and considerate and respectful and that makes you think even more about not so respectful things to do to him! Not to mention his Super MC!! Yeah...a Super Monster C! I enjoyed the whole book and its plot. It was involving, light, really steamy and I didn't even notice the book was coming to an end! You just don't see how much you read it until you are almost finishing it! WRONG - JANA ASTON This book was sooo good and funny! I was planning for a while to read this book and it was totally worthy! Sophie and Luke made my heart melt and full with joy!! Their interactions and awkardness are both sweet and funny and I couldn't let the book down! The book is hot, yummy and Luke is so alpha, and cocky and you wish you had a personal Luke! At the same time, you so enjoy reading about Sophie! She is smart, sweet and adorable! This series promises to be amazing!! I'm already a Jana Aston's fan! CONSOLATION - CORINNE MICHAELS I was definitely not expecting that! This book was so intense and angsting! Both Nathalie and Liam came from tragedy, from the same tragedy! They are damaged by it and they just lean on each other because of their friendship and the pain they share. So it is surprising and confusing for them when they realize there are other feelings growing stronger there. I liked that it made sense their fear to start something. It wasn't something, some feeling that was born out of nowhere and that we struggle to believe. It is so well written, and the feelings, the guilt, the wonders, the pain are all so strong that you get involved in that! You can see their feelings growing. It is not something that is thrown on you feel obliged to accept. You believe because you feel and read that the feelings are true. And I was not expecting to what I read at the end! Really! I couldn't believe it and Conviction sounds just as promising!

Escort was not at all what I expected, it was better. This amazing story of a male escort and one particular client was sweet and sexy. Taking place in Tanglewood, a city we know well from Ms. Warren’s past books. We also meet up with some of the past residents of that city. Well written and well worth the read. Review copy was received for an honest opinion.
