Valió la pena -- it was worth it, in Spanish. And that's what patient fans will say when this hot collection comes there way. Anthony turns the tender musings of his first Latin pop album, Amar sin mentiras, into dance-floor fire starters, proving once more that no matter how many styles he tries on, salsa is still this Nuyorican son's forte. The album marks his first collaboration with producer and keyboardist Sergio George since his breakthrough Todo a su tiempo. While these are not his most innovative productions, the New York salsa whiz brings a heft to Anthony's material that's gone missing for years, and the impassioned performances add up to a surprising return to form. A special bonus is his passionate performance of the de facto Puerto Rican anthem, "Lamento borincano," by Rafael Hernandez.

Me encanto este album de Marc Anthony, soy su mas fiel admiradora, para mi no hay voz como la de el y la verdad es que valio la pena esperar para que sacara su nuevo disco. Espero que lo disfruten!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love Marc Anthony....
Although the U.S. pop industry may dwell on Marc Anthony's ballads, this is where it's at for this fabuloso singer. A great album whose only fault is that it's too short!
your salsa version is beyond great. your duet with jennifer has made me a fan of hers. can't wait until your next concert.
Marc Anthony infuses his music with such passion that it's chilling. This is a great cd esp. the Lamento Borincano, which literally brought tears to my eyes!!!
Marc you have out done yourself on several of the salsero songs on this CD. Lamento borincano is definately my favorite and reminiscent of old world class Spanish Cultural music which I grew up listening to. It brought a tear to my eye and chills to my spine.
