About the Author

Candy lives in Ayrshire, Scotland with her dog and two ten year old cats who still think they are kittens. She has been a fan of fantasy fiction (and sci-fi as long as it isn't too technical) since her first year at university when a friend introduced her to talking dragons. She started to write on Christmas Day 2003 when she sat down and planned out her first book which (after many revisions) became the first book in the Planet Wolf Series, Wolves and War. Candy works in accountancy, scribbles words in amongst the figures and carries a notebook everywhere she goes (in which she writes down ideas and stories). She has been known to drive off the motorway, park the car in the first available safe spot and write for an hour or more. Candy writes her books in British English. Originally a language of mainland Europe, through the centuries it evolved in England and Southern Scotland before spreading around the world. Added to the basic standards, many national versions are recognised, including American English and British English, which have some grammatical differences and a number of spelling differences.

A 1050 page (Nook scanning skips on page count) sci-fi book and 5th in series of The Wolf Planet. The first chapter is a re-cap of the past 4 books, then provides a genology of characters from past to present in the next chapters. THEN the story continues as past enemies unite to provide a battle against a new enemy joined to an old one. Will a united front be enough to stand and defend, and do those who search for a solution do so in time?........ Mysteries, clue searching, joy, romance, descriptive violence, death, gore....... A glossary of characters and definitions is also provided.

I enjoyed all of rhe boooks, however I must say that this book wondered about a bit to much and added informarion that was a bit tedious. I fly could care less about all rhe araged mariages and geniolgies. In particular the ending just seemed to drag on and on about things that I rely had no nfrest ob. I would have liketo have seen thigs be more a strugle for the good guys. All this said a good stoty. Paul Quinn author of Child Of Promise Book 1 of The Elmairia Heritage

Great story, really, but the writing in the last two books was tedious beyond belief. An editor is seriously needed. I love a good long story and this qualifies but the endless character list complete with geneologies had me skipping paragraphs then pages as i realized that half or more of them played no real part in the story....quite frustrating to read yet i did because it is a great story. With a good editor to cut all the extraneous people out and tighten up the writing and correct the hundreds of proofing errors, this book could rate 5 stars.

After reading the first book by Candy Rae, I purchased all the other books in the series and read them. An excellent e-book. This is a good book for Sci-Fi and Fantasy readers. I read for enjoyment; this might make a good book for discussion...
