R to L (Japanese Style)

Cross Adademy is attended by two groups of students: the Day Class and the Night Class. At twilight, when the students of the Day Class return to their dorm, they cross paths with the Night Class on their way to school. Yuki Cross and Zero Kiryu are the Guardians of the school, protecting the Day Class from the Academy's dark secret: the Night Class is full of vampires!

Yuki sneaks into an exclusive vampire party and sees Aido's parents introducing their daughter to Kaname. They, like many other Night Class parents, desire an alliance with the pureblood. Kaname is the most eligible bachelor in the vampire society—but will he choose Yuki?

Okay, some much happen in such a short time. First Zero almosted kissed Yuki, then Kaname almost turned Yuki into vampire and now Yuki is having visions of blood every where! What secrets does Yuki past hold, and does Kaname have anything to do with her past?

This is by far one of the best manga i have ever read. Even after reading scans offline, it still makes my heart pound, when re-reading it. The relationship YUki shares With Kaname, makes my heart do somersaults, and her relationship with Zero as well. Matsuri Hino is definetely getting up to that level of excellent manga artists, along with Natsuki Takaya.

You learn quite a bit more about Kaname in this book. It's my favorite out of the series so far but I have confidence it will get even better. Kaname's personality is becoming more and more apparent and I must say that I like the results. The author is adding more mystery to this story. (And for the record I thought Kaname did it as soon as they said what happened to his parents.)

Yuki wants to find out what happened in her past. This was a pretty good volume. The cover looks cool.

I gotta admit that this is an interesting volume since there are a number of new revelations, but... I can see this getting convoluted pretty quickly. This is because the author keeps making the story bigger and bigger each volume by adding more characters, and they all have some kind of ulterior motive or mysterious past. You have to pay attention closely if you want to keep track of what's happening. The only characters I'm interested in are Yuki, Zero, and Kaname, because of the love triangle. It isn't a very good love triangle, but it's better than the vampire and vampire hunter politics, which isn't well done in my opinion. I also want to find out about Yuki's past.
