The Vanished (Roswell High Series #7) by Melinda Metz

Gone for good?
Max is on a mission to save Alex, who is stranded on the home planet. Alex may be lost or wounded -- or worse. To get Alex back, Max knows he'll need one of the Stones of Midnight. If only he knew where to find one...
Liz understands that Max can't rest until he finds Alex. And she's been busy herself -- spending time with Roswell newcomer Adam. She's been having so much fun with Adam that Max is in danger...of being forgotten.

I was alarmed at how the quality of the writing in this book went down, in contrast to the others! There was to mutch about Izzy and them and not enough Max for my taste. And Max be forgotten by Liz? Really. I absoultly love all the other books, though I am less than found of this one.

I really think that Alex is made for Isabel. She may think of him as a 'dork' but he loves her to death. She should fight to get him back, GOOD MEN are so hard to find.

throughout this hole book they are trying to find alex. and this is retarded because he isn't found and is still in this unnknown planet. and on the back cover it said that max might be forgotten by liz. who is this perosn kidding? throughout the whole book liz is all over him and wanting to do things with him. what part of that even signifies that max will be forgotten? and where in the world did cameron suddenly disappear to? michael should just get over that girl and get a normal life. and now suddenly out of no where we find ou that alex's dad knows all along where alex is. this book isn't as good as the other ones.

I have the first seven books, including this one. The series is fantastic, the characters are wonderful. But this is probably one of the two worst of the series so far. Which means it's still better than a lot of other books, just not the ones in this series. The relationships between the charaters are getting confusing in this one. Too many weird scenes that are just strange.

I think that Roswell HIGH are the best books I've ever read, but I didn't like how Maria and Micheal didn't hook up. I suppoert their relationship as i aslo do for the TV show. I'm glad Alex was brought back. I also like how in the book everyone was working hard to find bring Alex back. Lastly, I enjoyed the part when its night time during the time when they camp out on the search for ALex
