Her life is like a prison cell.
A self-made, to-hell-with-the-free-world existence that locks from the inside.
Stop judging. Her agoraphobia doesn't define her. It simply keeps her safe.

He belongs in a prison cell.
The 6x8, make-me-your-b*tch variety that locks from the outside.
But he's free. To hunt. To take. To break.
And he just found a sexy new toy.

Capturing her is the easy part. Her f*cked-up mind, however, makes him question everything he does next.
But he's a determined bastard. If all goes his way, this will hurt like hell.

About the Author

When she ran away, she traveled fourteen countries across five continents, attended three universities, and married the vocalist of her favorite rock band.
Java, tobacco, and dark romance novels are her favorite indulgences, and might be considered more unhealthy than her aversion to sleeping, eating meat, and dolls with blinking eyes.

"Gray like his eyes, the perfect blend of light and dark". This book takes place after Deliver. But you do not need to read Deliver to read Vanquish. It is a standalone but honestly I would definitely read Deliver anyway just because it is such a good book even though this can be read as a standalone as well. My Favorite book yet my the lovely Oyster Pam Godwin. I don’t know how she does it. After each book I read by her I tell myself, yep this one is my favorite. She’s brilliant I tell you. AND the best part of this all is VAN!!! Van is so sexy. GOD I LOVE HIM. He’s messed up, twisted but really unique. There is not a character out there that can lay a hand on Van, in my eyes. But the best part is that you get his POV FINALLY!!! I've always wondered what it would be like in Van’s head and it’s a beautiful sight A beautiful sight indeed. This is a duel POV. Which brings me to the Amber. Amber is off her rocker lets me just throw that out there. Amber, seems broken beyond repair. Amber suffers from agoraphobia and OCD. Amber is funny, brave, smart, weak, breakable, and I love all of those things about her because it makes her who she is. There were times when I felt so bad for her, her agoraphobia is a huge part of her life as well as her OCD, but at times I just laughed at how messed up she really is and the things she does. She's out there but so lovable at the same time. Am I jealous of her right now? Heck yes I am. The sex was unbelievable that will make your panties wet for sure. Be sure to have an extra pair and, a finger or two. :) Just saying be prepared. I believe I might have a slight obsession over Van, and I am not sure it will be going away anytime soon if ever. He completes me. ♥ Between Van and Amber they are perfect for each other. They both have messed up past, they are each fighting their own demons. But, when you bring both of them together they complete each other perfectly. They have a strong bond and get each other. No one has ever Van the way Amber does and accepts him for the messed up, twisted mother "you know" that he is. Just melts my heart. While reading Vanquish, there was a time when all my feelings I felt for Deliver, came out during reading this and it made me stop reading just to think back at Deliver, and I just smiled. That book was amazing and when reading this one it make me appreciate both books that much more. Pam, did a wonderful job on writing these two characters. The depth that Pam, went into this book that made me never feel there there was a duel moment, the pace is perfectly balance, but there is only one thing she did wrong. I wanted more!!!! My god, I wanted more. This is not a dark erotica. This is more of a psychological romance. I was on of the beta readers for this book.

Vanquish Vanquish is the second book in the Deliver Series. OMG....I can't beliieve Pam Godwin made me love Van. As the villian from Book 1 in this series I did not like him and I wasn't too sure how he could be redeemed. Vanquish was captivating, thought-provoking and unexpected. It captured my attention from the first chapter, it had me seriously thinking about this debilitating disease called agoraphobia and it was nothing like I was expecting it to be. This story will take you on a roller-coaster ride of emotions. This was a heartbreaking story about two damaged complex characters who healed each other and found love together. We learned so much about these two in this story and what made them into the people they became. Yes this was dark, but some of the back and forth banter will have you amused and brings much needed levity to the story. Vanquish was another phenomenal page-turner from Pam Godwin and I would highly recommend it to all lovers of Dark Romance.

Rated 4.5 Stars Vanquish is not a typical love story. It's quite disturbing and yet beautiful at the same time. I must admit that I wasn't a fan of Van Quiso at all in Deliver but he grew on me in this one while I can't say I love him I can say I empathize with him and like him a smidgen. Kudos to the author for redeeming him a bit in my eyes cause I seriously disliked him but in this book I say a different side of him, a human side that I quite liked. As for the heroine I loved that even though she had debilitating phobias she was still strong and held her own against Van. I definitely recommend it. It's dark and delicious. While Vanquish is a standalone, I'd recommend reading Deliver first. I didn't find this one as dark, but it was still there and even had some funny one liners. This one was about two very broken halves heal as whole, escaping too long in the dark. Amber has been conditioned into believing the worst in herself and with self-loathing and along with her syndromes, have made it difficult along with her agoraphobia to leave her prison of a home. While Van,his past is one without love, abuse, he's become self deprecation of his life choices after losing Liv. So when he see's Amber as a new obsession, he finds her quirks and self-loathing fascinating. He's a determined soul and his methods are somewhat unconventional, but he really does mean well when he "pushes her out the door". These two find love from the unconventional and it's what makes their story so endearing, they're both far from "normal", but its such a fantastic story. Again the writing is on another level, Van is someone you shouldn't love, but I can't even say I hate him, even after all he's done. I think with Amber and all her issues this was Van's chance at redemption, her crazy beautiful was perfect for him and they made the perfect couple, I loved them together. With each book I read I become more of a Pam Godwin fan, her writing is beyond anything I could have imagined and this is another firm favourite.

Holy F ... What did I just read and why did I enjoy it so much!?!?!?! These are the two questions I keep asking myself over and over. I always come to the same conclusion that Pam Godwin is the Queen of Dark and Evil Romances and she can make you love a monster. VAN VAN VAN. When I finished Deliver, the 1st book in the series, I thought there is no way that I will ever be able to feel anything but disgust for the monster that is Van, but by the end of this book I saw a more human side to him along with the dark and twisted. Amber and Van's story is messed up, but it works for them. At times I found myself cheering them along hoping for their HEA. *This is not a stand alone if you want to understand the depth of Van's depravity you need to read book 1, Deliver !

I loved Deliverer. So glad Van was given a shot at redemption and Happiness. I really loved this book. The 2 mcs are unhealthy but they bring out the best in each other. Van is off but it's impossible not to root for him. I would like to hear some of the slaves, Liv and he trained and rescued, stories.

Pam Godwin, once again delivers an amazingly written story that has you reading until all hours of the morning until you flick to the last page...and then you want to re-read Deliver!! Vanquish picks up with Van who we met in Deliver (please read this first to get the benefit). He's back and watching the girl who holds all the cards .... While stalking he stumbles upon Amber, a very disturbed young girl who once had everything, and who now has nothing. She's sick and scared and not only has she not left her house in years, but she has a serious case of OCD. So she's lonely and just right for Van to get beneath her skin except Van doesn't expect to be as affected as he is. I didn't think I'd like Van, but the more I read, the more he grew on me until I was rooting for him. Amber was nuts, and at times I'm not sure who was the craziest. These two, Amber and Van, are two major troubled people who you end up wanting to have their happily ever after because they go through hell. Pam's writing has you hooked from the first page, which makes her an automatic buy for me.
