This story combined action and suspense with some horror. It has SF elements, but it really crosses over. I loved the pace, and the ending.

Thought the concept was great as well as execution. Loved to see how it played out.

Can't say too much without spoiling it for you, but I'll try. Okay, this alien ship gets sent on a mission to find and rescue another alien ship which has lost communication and is presumed crashed. They find the ship, but something is terribly "wrong" on this planet. Apparently, when the first ship crashed, it released (something) that caused (something) to happen, and the natives of the planet (do something), so the commander of the second ship (does something) and they all live happily ever after! Hope I didn't give away too much! All in all, it was a fun read, and I can recommend it without any misgivings.
