This book is an absolute delight! Deliciously varied collection of recipes are easy to follow. The book also offers tips how to build the perfect cheese plate, accompaniments and pairings.

Incredible selection of easy to follow recipes for non-dairy cheese! All sort of yummy hard and soft cheeses plus spreads, sprinkles and sauces. Plus the author is thoughtful enough to include many nut-free and seed-free cheeses too for those who have allergies. Very well put together book with gorgeous photos!

I got my hands on an advance copy, lucky me! I'm not vegan, nor do I ever plan to be (unless bacon suddenly becomes the consistency of seaweed), but I am lactose intolerant. As an omnivore, this book not only looks great, but it's incredibly thorough. I have several vegetarian and vegan friends (one is deathly allergic to dairy products), and if I ever want to invite them to a dinner party, I now have a way to make sure that everyone gets something they can have! Some of the recipes require a lot of ingredients I'm not familiar with, like "nutritional yeast" and "chickpea miso paste", but considering I can recreate all my favorite cheeses without the intestinal disaster afterwards, this sounds like it's totally worth the trip to Whole Foods. This stuff is probably way better for you anyway, AND you can save the rest and put it in your pantry! It won't spoil as fast as regular cheese, major plus. Would definitely suggest this book to my friends-vegan or not.

I pre-ordered this book a long time ago, but I was not sure that I will keep this book, because I had already a book that have vegan cheese dishes. I ordered it mostly because I love Jules book with her amazing cocktails, my daughter spoiled me with these delicious drinks. I kept the book anyway because I love the recipes and the way Jules Aron presents the instructions. This book has very tasty recipes that you can easily cook and a clear information on putting together your ingredients. You should try Jules vegetable cheeses and her delicious spreads, it's so tasty. I can not eat diary products, but I loved them, now I have always cheese and cheesy spreads in my refrigerator and I have to say they are more delicious to me then real cheese and I am not joking. Must have this book and it is my advice for not only lactose intolerant and vegan people, but for everybody else who loves to eat delicious food.

I would give this book 10 stars if I could! Most of the recipes call for simple ingredients, and the instructions are very clear and easy to follow - it's an excellent guide to creating vegan cheese! As someone who is lactose intolerant, it's great to find nutritious alternatives.  It wasn't easy to find a book like this in stores, so I decided to take a chance and buy it online - definitely don't regret it! Now I'm planning on buying this book for for my daughter who doesn't eat dairy products, but I visited several stores in Ottawa, and no luck. I'll have to order it online again.
 So far I've made several recipes and all have been delicious, not just incredible taste but very beautifully presented. The author is very creative and knowledgeable!
