I have bought several of these books for my 10 year old grand-daughter who loves animals. She is especially fond of horses and absolutely loved these books. She said she learned so much about the animals themselves and how they could be helped. All of the books she has read in this series were geared very well to her age level and provided good life lessons. The characters and animals brought her to a new understanding of care for animals.
