About the Author
For many years, Hannah shared another passion for dance where she excelled in lyrical and ballet, and earned the privilege of dancing en pointe. Her love for the art led her into competition dance where, as a middle school student, she earned a spot on the most advanced senior team that went on to win the dance studios first national championship title in July of 2016.
The following January she collapsed at a solo practice and was never able to recover well enough to dance or compete again. Early on, she was misdiagnosed with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (P.O.T.S.), an error that was discovered a few months later when the treatment was not effective. Today, we knows she fights chronic migraine, but most of 2017 was spent trying to find the cause as she fought to return to school, defending her condition to teachers and students alike.
In December of 2017 she received a laptop so she could journal, vent about her situation, and write stories that inspired her. She was also enrolled in an online public school to keep from falling behind and since then she has excelled, successfully completed some A.P. classes, and is on track to complete high school a full semester ahead of schedule. Her experiences and creativity became the foundation of Violent Delights.
Some of her favorite things include Audrey Hepburn movies, Paris, France, cats, the color pink, and anything related to Autumn and Halloween. You can keep up with her on Instagram at Han.Boggs; and Facebook (Hannah Boggs Author), or visit her web site www.HannahBoggsBooks.com.

It is one of those rare few novels where everything just clicks. From the narrative to the development, the author ensured that everything about this novel was perfect. I could not help but feel sympathetic towards Odette. She is an innocent character, one that was sheltered, but when her illusion was shattered, she realized that she was the only one who could save herself. I enjoyed how she grew and developed into a powerful young woman who stood up for herself and what she thought was right. The mystery and the element of suspense were kept alive until the very end and I lived for it! This is a phenomenal first novel and I cannot wait to see what Hannah Boggs has in store for Odette.
