Melanie Rose has been writing since childhood. Her debut novel, "Ashford," was awarded the B.R.A.G. Medallion in 2012. She and her husband, singer/songwriter Aaron Gabriel, live in Chewelah, Washington, with their dog Leo and a hedgehog named Ferdinand.
