King Diamond's album "Voodoo" is a little bit boring cause King has done this kinds of songs since 1983. Maybe the new lyrics are more darker but we have heard this kinds of stories enough. The instruments have failed a little bit but not disturbingly.
King uses the same black metal style as for the graveyard, but the instruments are much better. The vocals are not as good for most of it, but more beautifully done at times and a great story with tales of voodoo priestesses, ghosts, and possession. The best track is probably 'One Down, Two To Go', starting out softly and exploding into black metal. Anyway, a great album to get if you liked The Graveyard, but if you hated his new style, skip this one and try the classics (Fatal Portrait, Abigail, THEM, The Eye, Conspiracy). (Personally I love it, but everybodys got their opinions)
