It is no secret that I enjoy reading suspense novels. This author is always one of my go to authors when wanting a book filled with intrigue. She writes characters that pop off the page with realism. I have been waiting for this book and couldn't wait to dive in. When someone has done something wrong to us, we think for a moment how sweet it would be to get revenge. Of course we don't take action. In this fast paced story we find Special Agent Linc against the wall when he loses his partner. You can feel his anger and disbelief that someone was able to kill his partner. I loved how Allie's past becomes the center of the story and the secrets that unravel as time goes on. There is more to Allie than Linc knew. Her secrets start to pile up and leaves Linc wondering if he really ever knew her. The plot is exceptional and intense with revenge as a real possibility for one of the characters. Allie is in deep with undercover work and needs help to find her way to the truth. Her journey is one that is hard at times as she has to accept that it is not her place to take action against someone. Can Linc and Allie find a way to work together? The story is a roller coaster ride as we read how revenge can take over if they aren't grounded in faith. It is a wonderful story that I loved reading and was filled with many surprises. I received a copy of this book from the Early Reviewers Program of LibraryThing. The review is my own opinion.

Each book in this series featuring the St. John family has been suspenseful and absorbing. This book, featuring Allie and Linc’s storyline, has been my favorite. Allie is quite a compelling character. She’s tough, driven, and resourceful. Because she’s needed to keep her younger years a secret, the officers she’s worked with have considered her something of a mystery. But that didn’t keep Linc St. John from falling in love with her. As Allie’s undercover assignment goes terribly wrong, Linc is the one who must fight to keep her alive. However, as Allie’s past becomes her present, it places all she lives in great danger, too. This storyline had a couple of twists in it that I did not see coming, and the ending kept me turning pages as quickly as I could. Lynette Eason is one of my favorite Christian suspense authors, and I always appreciate the emphasis in trusting God she has as an emphasis in her stories. I received a copy of this book from the publisher. All opinions are my own.

The Blue Justice series has taken us through many trials, but this final book brought out all the guns! So much action, intrigue and mystery. A hint of romance that never seems to get its happy ending, but of course the ending wraps the whole series up beautifully. There is so much to share, but I don’t want to give away any spoilers. So, I’ll keep this review simple. You can read it as a stand-alone and then catch up with the rest of the series. Personally, I’d start at the beginning of the series though as those books were seriously amazing! This was a good book that had a lot of twists and curves. Though Lincoln St. John stands out as a lead character in the St John family, this was really about his love interest and partner, Allie. They are two FBI agents in a tangle of trouble and mystery from beginning until the end. I also loved the faith journey… Allie’s drive for vengeance versus allowing God to bring justice was a key theme in the story. I absolutely loved the epilogue and seeing all the family members together was awesome! Great job, Eason on another great series. I was provided a complementary copy through NetGalley by Revell. I am now a fan of Lynn Easons' work!! This author has amazing writing!! I knew there was a reason I picked up this book this weekend. It falls across a sermon I heard at church this morning. How far are you or how close are u from God? Wow!! My preacher Joe sure knows how to deliver a powerful punch and so does this author. Yes, things do happen in life but God is not the cause of it. That's Satan working against you!! He finds many terrible ways to do it too!! Mainly through a man named Nevsky and his evil cronies. Eason delivers a powerful story with many twists and turns filled with lots of action along the way. You'll be like get him get him and be frustrated when they don't. She also keeps you guessing too!! It took me awhile but I finally put two and two together. Linc is a believer. I think that's what I liked about him. I also loved his strong and confident presence whenever he's in the room and I love the messages he gives and the lessons he teaches to Allie along the way. Just like I said at the beginning. Allie holds grudges against God. That I can truly understand because I did for a very long time. There is peace but not in the way Allie thinks at first. Peace comes from the one true God. But first you have to forgive and that is not easy. I should know that too. I think all of us does really. It is just that like Linc said "deals with it in their own way." I strongly recommend this book to anyone who loves a good book! My thanks to Netgalley for a copy of this book. No compensations were received and all opinions are my owns!!

Vow of Justice is the fourth instalment in Lynnette Eason’s Blue Justice series, which follows the crime-fighting St John family. Vow of Justice is FBI Agent Linc St John’s story and it is chock full of tension, buried secrets, dark pasts, evil bad guys and chemistry-charged romance. When an undercover case involving the Russian Mafia goes wrong, Linc St John is devastated to learn his partner, Allie has been killed. Determined to hunt down her killer, he is shocked to find her alive and well. But Allie has been keeping secrets from her partner and they might be enough to get them both killed. Vow of Justice is gripping from the very first pages. The crimes Allie and Linc are investigating are the work of the Russian Mafia, involving multiple assassinations and murders. But it is also personal. Allie’s past is entangled with the crimes and people she and Linc are investigating now and that makes everything so much more deadly and important to them both. With undercover work, threats to both their lives, coverups and a plot that has them both working outside the lines of their professional roles, it is their jobs and lives that are at stake. Daria, the daughter of the mafia leader they are investigating, makes for an excellent addition to the story, increasing the risks they take to ensure her safety. While the evil characters are identified from the start, there are numerous secrets revealed and high-tension action scenes that keep the plot moving quickly and the suspense high. Linc and Allie make a great team - both personally and professionally. They have been dancing around their growing feelings for a while and make a few references to previous ‘dates’, yet while Linc is determined to act upon his feelings, Allie knows that her history makes a relationship impossible. Along with Linc’s family, all of whom will be familiar to readers of the previous three books, the relationships between the characters and the jovial banter they share even in tense moments, makes this a really fun book to read. I enjoyed every moment of Vow of Justice. I do hope there will be a fifth title, as hanging with this crime-fighting family is so much fun. I highly recommend the entire Blue Justice series to readers who enjoy romantic suspense. The publishers provided an advanced readers copy of this book for reviewing purposes. All opinions are my own.

In book 4 of the Blue Justice series, the spot light is on FBI Special Agent Linc St. John and his partner Allie Radcliffe. When Allie is thought to be dead, Linc goes on a hunt for the killer only to find that she is actually alive. Linc and Allie are on the hunt to bring down this killer, but someone is also on the hunt to kill them as well. In this twist and turn adventure, who will come out alive in the end? Eason did a great job once more spinning a tale of suspense, romance and mystery in this novel. It reads well as a stand alone novel even though it is part of the series. The series is based on different members of one family and Eason does a great job keeping the spotlight on the main character. With plot twisters and action-packed pages, this book will keep you up in to the night so you can get to the end and find out what happens! The story-line is fast-paced and Easton did a great job keeping the reader engaged from the beginning to the end. Revell Reads sent me a complimentary copy to review for them. Opinions expressed are my own.

This is the fourth book in the Blue Justice series. You do not need to read the other three books to enjoy this one but I recommend reading them because they are all so good. This has a great amount of suspense and just enough romance for me to enjoy. I loved the characters. I received a copy of this book from Revell for a fair and honest opinion that I gave of my own free will.

Vow of Justice is a can't miss Christian Fiction Suspense read. I was hooked from the first page and I devoured this story in a matter of hours. I really enjoyed the angle of Allie faking her death and all the mystery that entailed. It made for quite an interesting story and it had a few surprises along the way! Linc and Allie were very likable characters and I loved getting to see the St. John family again. This series has been thoroughly enjoyable and I am sorry that it's coming to an end. Although we do get at least one more story with Derek doing a crossover to another of Lynette's series so I am looking forward to that one! I received this book from the RevellReads and was not required to post positive review. All thoughts are my own.

I love Lynette Eason's work!!! This book drew me in from the very beginning and wouldn't let me go! (Makes for rather a late night by the time I finally make myself go to bed :) My heart felt for Allison so much as more and more of her history was revealed. I can't even imagine. One thing I liked was how this wasn't a "the two MCs meet and spend a couple of days to a week together in intense scenarios and fall in love". No, there is history and attraction that we are dropped in the middle of. I don't know if this is the last book or not (Derek didn't get a story after all), but I was kind of worried that we hadn't gotten Ruthie's story! I'm relieved to see there is a story about her because I love her! Speaking of the rest of the St. Johns, I kind of wish there had been more of them in this story. I mean, they all were mentioned at one point or another, but they weren't really "there", if you know what I mean. I suspected the villain just before it was really revealed. I always am pleased when I figure something out, especially since the bad guys are smart and things are usually twisting around like spaghetti! There is a strong theme of justice verses revenge that is played out beautifully. Also well developed are wrestling and struggling with the fact that God seems distant sometimes and doesn't answer our prayers in our timing or how we like. This has been another wonderful series by Eason. I'm never disappointed by her books! Thanks to Revell and NetGalley for a copy. A favorable review was not required. All opinions are my own.

For anyone who doesn’t know, this is the forth (and final, I believe) book in Lynette Eason’s “Blue Justice” series. I read the first one when it released early last year, but somehow missed books 2 and 3, something I will soon be rectifying! I’ve greatly enjoyed pretty much all of Ms. Eason’s books that I’ve ever picked up and this one is certainly no exception! Despite not having read them in the correct order, I didn’t feel as though I was playing catch up when I started this one, something I really appreciated. Ms. Eason does an excellent job of pulling in characters and details of her past books, while also filling in enough backstory that they can be read as stand-alone novels, if desired . . . though I’m honestly not sure why anyone would want to do that. After reading this one, I’m super excited to go back and read the others, now! I love that this series follows a family and how the author includes that in the story, even in something as simple as sibling teasing to lighten the tension that is constantly building. I so enjoyed getting to know Lincoln St. John better. He is the common sense of the team, while Allison Radcliffe seems more of a fly-by-the-seat-of-her-pants kind of impulsive. I loved her determination to protect those around her and her desire to see justice done. I also greatly appreciated how the author wove themes of justice vs. vengeance into the story and how that was not only spoken of, but also shown in the decisions and actions the characters chose. By the time I turned the final page, I felt as though I’d been there with them every step of the way, through dangerous situations and at times, painful choices. Ms. Eason has long been one of my go-to authors for suspense and this book may be one of her most intriguing, yet. Something was constantly happening that kept me flipping pages long past my bedtime and as soon as I could grab it again after work. I did get a little lost on the timeline of things, occasionally, with how quickly everything was happening. And for mystery lovers, I will forewarn you that I did find part of the plot twist predictable, but maybe that was just me. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and am looking forward to tracking down the other “Blue Justice” novels! *My thanks to the publisher for my copy of this book! I was not required to write a review, positive or otherwise, and have not been compensated for it in any way. All opinions expressed are my own.

What a fabulous wrap up to the Blue Justice series! I enjoyed all four of the books, as well as a novella that was part of the series. Oath of Honor, which was book one, and Vow of Justice, which was book four, were my favorites of the series. However, even if you haven’t read the other books, Vow of Justice can be read and enjoyed on its own. I appreciated the fast pace of this novel, as well as the simmering romance between the two main characters. I liked the way the author slowly dropped the clues and gave imformation to the reader as the story progressed. I must admit that I figured a lot out about this story before it was revealed. However, that did not take away the enjoyment of reading it for me. The author was still able to surprise me about some things and the tension that built as I read added to the story as well. (4.5 stars) I received a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

Admittedly, I was rather sad to see this series end, but I couldn't have asked for a better finale! Vow of Justice is a wild ride from page one. The action starts there and doesn't stop until the epilogue. With many twists and turns, my adrenaline was almost constantly racing. Eason explores a variety of themes, including forgiveness and trusting God. Linc St. John and Allie Radcliffe are both very realistic characters, and, after seeing Linc featured in the previous three books, I was excited to finally read his story. All in all, Vow of Justice is an explosive finale to the Blue Justice series! I highly recommend it to lovers of good suspense with a touch of romance. FTC Disclosure: I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley. I was not required to write a positive review. These are my honest thoughts and opinions.

Lynette Eason has done it again! I really enjoyed this suspense novel and the way it drew me in. I could not put it down and was sad to see the series come to an end. The action never stopped and it seemed like the bad guys were always one step ahead. I loved their characters and their backstories. Their pasts greatly influenced their actions and it was interesting to read and see their growth as the novel progresses. The only complaint I have is that the epilogue was a bit cheesy. With all that said, Lynette Eason holds her place as my favorite suspense author. Rating: 5 Stars Content: 4 Stars *I received a complementary copy of this novel from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts are my own and a positive review was not required.

Title: Vow of Justice Author: Lynette Eason Series: Blue Justice book 4 Chapters: 21 Plus epilogue Pages: 336 Genre: Christian Romantic Suspense Rating: 5 stars Vow of Justice is the fourth and final book in the Blue Justice series. We finally get oldest Brother (I believe) Linc St. John's story. The FBI agent brother, who's been burned before when it comes to romance. When his partner and the woman he is falling in love with Allison Radcliffe is killed Linc wants to go after her killer even though he's suppose to be on medical leave. But all it's what it seems. Linc will have to put his feelings aside to bring a killer to justice before someone he cares about truly does become the next victim. All in all this book was a nice wrap up of the series, though I still wish Derek had gotten his own book as well. But I did enjoy getting to visit back with the St. John family in which pretty much almost all members of the family are involved in some form of law enforcement, law, or medical basically jobs that allow them to serve the public. I mean with a dad who's a lawyer and a mom who's the Police Chief it doesn't seem like these siblings would have chosen any other career let a lone a life on the wrong side of the law. This book like the first three books that are Izzy's, Chole's and Brady's stories and the novella that is Ruthie's give me Blue Blood vibes. I love books about the blue family. It stems from me being a blue family myself. The seen in the epilogue is adorable and to me the perfect way to end the series. Even though each book in the series is technically a standalone because it focuses on a different sibling I recommend and encourage reading them in order because if not you will spoil endings of other books in the series. The order is Oath of Honor, Called to Protect, Code of Ethnics the novella, Code of Valor and finally Vow of Justice. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Christian suspense , Christian Romantic Suspense, a good law enforcement novel or the TV Show Blue Bloods. I received a copy of this book from the publisher through netgalley. I was not required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are mine alone. Put on your seatbelt as you begin reading this novel. It is riveting and action-packed. The suspense jumps onto the page, and the action doesn’t quit. About the time you think it’s slowing down, something else happens to FBI Special Agent Allison Radcliffe. She’s focused and determined to find her parents and sister’s killer but finds herself in the crosshairs instead. Allison’s partner, Linc St. John, has a difficult time keeping her safe. She’s energetic, fearless, and relentless in her search. Link struggles with keeping his feelings for her to himself. She lets him know that she can’t live the life she wants until the murderer is found. Will she be able to control her trigger finger when she comes face-to-face with her family’s killer, or will she allow justice to prevail. I won’t spoil it for you. You’ll have to read the book to find out. There are several twists in Vow of Justice that caught me by surprise, held my attention, and kept me turning the page. I recommend this book, and I give it five stars. I received a complimentary copy of this novel from the publisher. All thoughts and comments are my own.

What an intense thrill ride! This is book 4 in the Blue Justice series (but book 5 if you want to count the novella that came between books 2 and 3) and the series follows the St. John family - a lawyer father, a chief of police mother, and six adult children who are all in law enforcement except for one. I haven’t read any of the previous books before reading this one and felt that I missed out a little on the family background and dynamics as well as the background of Linc and Allie’s relationship and partnership as FBI agents. But it didn’t detract from enjoyment of this fast-paced, suspense-filled story with a solid layer of faith and a good dose of romance. In this book, Allie’s past and her true motives in becoming an FBI agent come to light as she goes undercover to bring down a Russian mafia leader. Allie’s past violently collides with her present as she works fervently to get revenge and Linc tries his best to protect her as they work together to figure out how to stop the villain. There are plenty of twists and turns in the plot that will have you turning the pages faster and faster in attempt to find out how the pieces all fit. Lynette Eason delivers another nail-biting romantic suspense that won’t disappoint. I received a copy of the book from Baker Publishing Group via Interviews and Reviews and was under no obligation to post a positive review. All comments and opinions are solely my own.

Lynette Eason is hands down one of my favorite authors in the genre. "Vow of Justice" is exactly why she is. This is a powerful book that takes strong characters, a close family, and a fantastic plot, and brings them all together in a very, very good read. Who's dead? Who's alive? Both Linc St. John and his FBI partner Allie Radcliffe are trying to bring down a top Russian Mafia boss. Allie works undercover for him to gather evidence, and befriends his teenage daughter, Daria, who hates her father. Entangled in this is Allie's family history. Though Linc and Allie have fallen in love, Allie has kept her past family history, even her real name, from Linc. Gradually, she tells Linc her story. How this unfolds in the midst of all the excitement is a joy to read. Ms Eason has shown once again she has extraordinary talent for story telling, developing complex, realistic characters, and keeping the reader as interested in the middle of the book as they are at the beginning and end. I loved the Daria character. She is a very bright young lady, and desperately needs the love of an adult she can trust and admire. Her contribution to solving the mystery is really fun to read. This is a must read book!

FBI Special Agent Linc St. John is the fourth of the St. John siblings to be featured in the Blue Justice series. As a member of a task force to bring down the Russian Mafia head who has made Columbia, SC, a home base, he is teamed with Special Agent Allie Radcliffe. They work well together and also have started forming a special bond. The story drew me in as one event after another unfolded, and people around her were ending up in the line of fire. The suspense is thick and the stakes are high. Lives are at risk. Through it all, Allie struggles with matters of faith as she sees so many plans going awry and evil continually seeming to have an advantage over good. At every step, the Mafia head and his assassins seem to know what is coming and exactly where Linc and Allie are. Allie has developed a close affinity to the teenaged daughter of the Mafia head and struggles to keep her safe, although the teenager comes through with help for Allie at times. The descriptions of the evil that emanated from the Mafia head and his closest bodyguards and assassins was almost chilling to read. However, I would rather read it than come face-to-face with anyone so evil. I particularly enjoyed the times when Linc and Allie were together with all of his family. The family members have been introduced in earlier books of the series, so I enjoyed their involvement in this story. Allie had vowed justice for her own family after they were murdered fifteen years earlier. A huge part of her reason for getting into law enforcement was so she could get herself into a position where she could fulfill that vow. Will she finally get justice? Or will she die trying? I received an advance copy of this book from NetGalley. This is my honest review. All opinions are strictly my own. #VowOfJustice #NetGalley

Instead of suspense building to a climax like most books do, this book begins with heart-pounding action which continues throughout the book as Allie puts herself in dangerous situations trying to catch a murderer. I found myself holding my breath throughout most of the book. It was really well written and kept the tension and energy going until the end. In this book, Allie has to play “dead” which frustrates Linc, especially when he finds out she's still alive and well. He works with her to try to keep her and himself alive during many daring adventures. I highly recommend this book. Lynette Eason is an excellent writer. (Please Note: Although a copy of this book was provided to me to review by Revell, a division of Baker Publishing Group, the opinions expressed are my own.)

A really good who-dun-it with threads of suspense. I figured out a bad guy early, but was way off on why and what his ultimate endgame was. I love that. And the way it tied loosely to earlier books is a nice reward for those who have read the earlier installments, but will not distract from the enjoyment of the book if this is your first in the series. And the spiritual thread was perfect! Great romance as well. Basically, this book had it all.

“Vow of Justice” by Lynette Eason was a fantastic read! This is the fourth book in the Blue Justice series, but you don’t have to read the first three books to enjoy this one. Lynette Eason is one of my favorite authors, and she didn’t fail me with this one, either. This book follows Linc St. John and his partner, Allie. Linc finds out that Allie is dead, so he is dead set on finding her killer. However, he soon finds out that Allie is actually alive. So now they’re trying to figure out who the real bad guy is. Although I did figure out who the real bad guy was, this book still kept me interested all the way through. There are some twists and turns along the way, in true Lynette Eason fashion! I would definitely recommend this book to anyone that enjoys good, clean, romantic suspense novels. In fact, I recommend all of Lynette Eason’s books! I received this book from the publisher through NetGalley for my honest opinion.

I could not wait to get my hands on this book! If you have read any books in the Blue Justice series then you know exactly what I mean. Eason is at the top of her game and kept me turning pages with no clue what could happen next. This book was full of twists, turns and breath stealing moments. I loved getting to know Linc and Allie more, and I am not ready to say goodbye to this family. The Blue Justice series follows the St. John’s who are mostly law enforcement of some kind. I was blessed to read all the other books in this series, but don’t feel that you need to in order to enjoy this one. Of course if you haven’t read them, you might as well get them all! They are each so unique and impossible to put down. Vow of Justice follows Linc and his partner Allie as they try to capture an elusive and dangerous criminal. Before joining the FBI Allie had a secret past. It is a big part of what fuels her to be the best. When the past collides with the present she is left scrambling to put the pieces together before it’s too late. Caring for Linc as more than her partner was not part of her plans. Can she ever live a normal life? Or was she not made for happy ever after? I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys suspense. Eason is a professional at adding just the right amount of romance, mystery and faith. I was happy to bring this book with me wherever I was just in case I had a spare moment to read, and know you will be too. I received a copy of this book from Revell publishers and was in no way forced to post a review. All opinions expressed are my own.

Rating 4.5 This is the final book in the Blue Justice series featuring the St. John family who all are involved in different ways in the justice system. This book features the last of the St. John children, Linc, who is an FBI Special Agent. His partner is Allison Radcliffe. When she was only 14, her family was all gunned down by an assassin and only she escaped. Now she has a lead on who that assassin was and she and Linc are out to find he and his boss who ordered the deaths. Fast paced, full of action, twists and turns galore, this high paced suspense novel kept me fascinated from start to finish. With high tech devices, Allison and Linc pulled out all the stops as they tried to solve this mystery. They even had to pull in LInc's other family members for support and advice. But somewhere along the line someone who is involved with the case is leaking info that is deterring Allison and LInc as well as putting both their lives in jeopardy. The slow developing romance between Linc and Allison was nice, and I appreciated that it didn't overshadow the suspense which was the main focus. The suspense and dramatic tension carried along throughout the story until the final culmination. The characters were all memorable even the villainous ones. And I appreciated that just enough clues were dropped to hint at whom the culprit was that was leaking info. I took half a point of my rating score because I felt like some of the descriptions were too graphic for my taste. This book can be read as a stand-alone; but if read in order; you gain a much better understanding of the St. John family and the relationships within that family. **I received a complimentary copy of this book from Revell Publishing through NetGalley. Opinions are mine alone. I was not compensated for this review.
