I think the book Voyage on the Great Titanic: The Diary of Margaret Ann Brady, by Ellen Emerson White, is a fantastic book. It is about a 12-year-old orphan named Margaret Ann Brady. Her older brother William put Margaret in an orphanage and came to the US for a better life. William is trying to make enough money for Margaret¿s voyage to America. Margaret gets an offer to come to the US as a companion for Mrs. Carstairs. She gets to travel to the US as a first-class passenger on the Titanic. Along the way, she meets many people including Robert, a boy she grows fond of. Margaret thought her trip would be perfect, but she was really wrong. I personally, loved this book. It was a fabulous novel. I like this book because it¿s historical fiction and because it¿s on the Titanic. I think that¿s what makes the book more interesting. If you¿ve seen the movie, then you will probably like reading this book. It¿s a lot like the movie. Though it may seem like this book is for everyone, it¿s not. It¿s mostly for girls who love reading about historical fiction about the Titanic.

This has to be one of my favorites from the "Dear America" series! No girl should pass up this lovely book. It is the fictional story of Margaret Ann Brady as she sets sail on the Titanic's first voyage. Amidst all the excitement, no one realizes the devastating fate of that ship. It will be a horrible shock to all. I immensely loved "Voyage on the Great Titanic". It's worthy of being read a second time.

This orphan, Margaret Anne Brady is sent to entertain this rich old lady who will sail on the Titanic. Well, on board Margaret falls in love with this guy and they kiss. He ends up dying on board because he can't get off and she has a broken heart and boo hoo. I couldn't tell if this book was for eight year olds or teens! The beginning is directed toward younger kids, and the middle gets kind of sappy, somthing for teens. Not the best diary I've read.

I think that this book was really good. It was also so sad, that I even found myself crying at some parts. I recommend it to anyone who is in for a good love story and loves the Titanic

Margaret Ann Brady, an orphan from the St. Abernathy's Orphanage for Girls in England, is hired as a personal companion for Evelyn Carstairs on the R.M.S. Titanic. Her diary tells about the Titanic from the elegant dinners to the infamous night of its sinking. Awesome book, I totally recommend it. It was a little sad at times.

This sounds like it was good, but when I read it I wasn't really paying attention, except parts like the romance and the end. Its almost exactly like all other personified Titanic books: two people go on Titanic. People fall in love. One person dies. Other person lives. Person marries. Person tells story to youngsters. I only gave it three stars because I kind of read without reading. It miht have been good, but I don't remember.

I am glad that this was a fiction story as I can not imagine what this young girl had to go through all by herself. It was a touching and sad story but I am glad she was able to meet up with her brother.
