About the Author

About the Author:

When you become a Mom, you begin to put yourself last, and your combat boots begin to collect dust. Going to your child's PTA meetings in full Gothic, especially industrial, regalia is pretty much frowned upon. Especially by your own children, and your teens would die of a heart attack. But, one should not have to completely stop being themselves, uniqueness is greatness. So all of that darkness is put into words in her books, and designs in her jewelry sold in her Gothic Moms Dark Charms shop on Etsy and Rebels Market.

Single mother of five beautiful children, but by far more than just that. T. A. Moorman is an artist, a former violinist, a seamstress, a crafter, a writer, a blogger, a reviewer, a dark confidant and a darkly dangerous, fiercely protective friend. She still hopes to one day find her Dark Knight in shining armor, since Prince Charming would never be able to handle her. And currently broke, so go buy something of hers and tell everyone you know how much you love this book.

Chance is Justine's brother's best friend. When her brother announces he's getting married and a short timeframe for the wedding, it puts Justine and Chance up close and personal as they make the plans to pull off her brother's wedding. As they work close together their feelings for each other surface. Will this be the start of a new beginning for Justine and Chance? I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

As with Ms. Moorman’s other stories, Wait, You Did What? (WYDW) is a fun read and an interesting story. I liked the characters, and I enjoyed joining them on their ride through the story, no pun intended. Unfortunately, I found a decent number of errors while reading WYDW, which for me is a turn off and instantly drops a review score down a point. There is no indication that my copy is an ARC, so I don’t think there will be additional edits before it’s re-published. With that said, I think WYDW could use another look-over by a copy-editor. I feel a little odd writing this, as the author is African-American, but a few of the characters, especially Mom and Pops, felt a little stereotypical to me. However, that may just be because I’m an outsider to the culture. I grew up in a predominately Hispanic neighborhood and am well aware that some stereotypes can be true. WYDW is certainly worth a read if you’re looking for a short, feel-good story. You can just relax and giggle at the shenanigans the characters get into.

Wow, this is excellent!! What a wild, fun and sexy ride to love. Chase is so bold and determined, not to mention sexy. Very exciting and entertaining plot with a surprise twist and loads of laugh out loud moments, very enjoyable romance. This is the first time that I have read a story by this author and I already love the writing style and will be seeking more from this talented author. I was provided a free copy by Candid Book Reviews.
