Overview
How do you respond when circumstances are not what you expected or wanted? When life hands you setbacks, trials, and sometimes even tragedies?
Walk in Joy uses Scripture and personal experiences for living life joyfully and with thanks in all circumstances.
The Apostle James tells us to "consider it pure joy, my brothers (and sisters) whenever you face trials of many kinds."
I invite you to dive into the Scriptures with me as we discover joy as a state of being rather than an emotion. Together we will find ways to always "walk in joy."

About the Author
Colleen Happenny was born and raised in Falmouth, Massachusetts, and resided there until the age of eighteen when she married and moved to Florida as a snowbird for nine years until the death of her husband.
Colleen then took up residence in New Hampshire for twenty years, working in retail management for sales and customer service. The customer service aspect was much more appealing to her and eventually led to Colleen becoming the founder and president of Care-America.org in Florida, a nonprofit organization, since 2013. By providing in-home care to seniors and veterans, with the emphasis on serving God through serving others, Colleen’s interests in the senior community and her passion for the care of others led her to a new calling for teaching, training, and reaching others to live life with a servant heart.
As a leader and teacher of women’s Bible studies for over six years, Colleen began to write about the things God placed in her heart. Colleen has a unique way of revealing God’s message in Scripture and inspiring others while adding a dash of humor.
Colleen currently resides in Melbourne, Florida, where she enjoys the beach and walks in nature while communicating with God.
