I was so excited to see this book published. When reading this book you find your self pulled into the story. It feels so real that you become part of the story. Which character would you like to be. I am so glad there is a second book to follow this Walk in the Woods and now Fire in the Tail. After reading one you really want to read number two. Spend a night in another world. I am holding my breath for book number three. I bought copies for family and friends and they loved it just as much as I did. Mary is a good story teller.

After reading this book I found it to be a positive and uplifting book with moments of lesson teaching qualities especially for the younger set. It causes the imagination to come alive and brings attention to human/animal interactions, as well as noting the importance of doing the right thing leading by example. Carson City, Nevada

After obtaining a copy of " A Walk through the Woods: The Adventure Never Ends " to send to my niece's children, I decided to read it before sending it on to them. I found it to be a delightful discovery. The book describes the adventures of a young boy named ' Bobby '. He discovers early on he is able to talk to the various animals that live in the nearby woods. There are numerous pictures and drawings that help the reader envision the story as it goes along. Throughout the book, Bobby and a select number of close young friends encounter one adventure after another ultimately including a confrontation with some young folks that fill the need of 'bad guys' adding excitement to the story. Of course, Bobby and his friends prevail. The book ends with Bobby having to say 'goodbye' to his friends (although he would keep in touch with them by e-mail). Bobby was soon to join his parents for an exciting adventure filled trip to the " land down under "....Australia !!!!!

This is a great and unique children's adventure. It is easy to read along with some good illustrations, which make it attractive to youngsters. People of all ages will enjoy this book and reading it to their kids. The book has some elements of American history as well. People of my generation(50+) will enjoy its old time feel and classic morals

Kentucky woods and fun! If you’re from Kentucky, it’s a must read. I spent my summers in Kentucky and this book reminded me of all the great times in those wooded areas and the stories that everyone told each night around the dinner table, especially those about the many caves that dot the land. The Kentucky woods and caves are filled with magic and this book captures not just the magic but good old fashion morals for children. Bobby is an incredible boy and his friends, both kids and animals, will delight you and your children.
