If you feel that no one has experienced the suffering that you have...think again!
How low do you need to sink before it becomes time to change gaits?
This inspirational story is a testimony to the work that Guy Kaufman and his horse, Shadow, are doing; changing lives- one person, one heart at a time, using horses as part of his therapy program. Taking the heart-wrenching experiences learned from his past, Guy puts into practice what he has been taught as a Certified Equine Specialist, giving those he works with a renewed reason to wake up each day, giving thanks to be able to live in the moment.
It is a story of good versus evil, and how, through the grace of God and a little horse sense! goodness wins. Filled with bittersweet testimonials, Bible verses and words to live by, may this story become an epiphany for you and those you love.

For reasons that I'd rather not explain, I have found out that Diane Ganzer is not who she portrays herself to be. Therefore, as an author myself, I would not recommend reading any of Diane Ganzer's books.

What this faith based organization mentioned in the story does is teach the one addicted how to overcome the addiction, be it to alcohol, drugs, emotional behaviors and more, using equine assisted therapy and a lot of faith in God! Guy Kaufman, founder, has been down that road of despair, and uses the experiences he has learned in his recovery to work with others.
