"I have loved you.....with an everlasting love." Two wounded and hurting souls meet at church and are interested in each other but from a distance. Liddy is dealing with pain from an affair her professor husband had with a student. When they found out that the student was pregnant, he asked Liddy for a divorce. Liddy's best friend is a sales manager for a small hotel chain and gets Liddy a job as a concierge worker at Sea Glass Inn in coastal California. Liddy is making progress in her life but started having health issues that could be life threatening. Beau lost his wife to a disease a year ago and is still dealing with the loss. One night at church, the minister asked the congregation for prayer requests and Liddy asked for prayer for her condition. Beau and Liddy are sitting next to each other. Beau is concerned for Liddy and struck up a conversation with her out of care and concern. He is also interest in getting to know her. Liddy is interested in getting to know Beau as well and accepts his friendship and help. Liddy had surgery and things are looking up.
