A Wanderer in the Spirit Lands by (A. Farnese) Franchezzo

A Wanderer In The Spirit Lands
by Franchezzo (A. Farnese)

A classic true story of the afterlife, and of a love that flourishes beyond the grave. Written through the psychic medium A. Farnese in 1896, Wanderer is the true autobiography of Franchezzo, an Italian socialite who squanders his life on "wine, women and song." After an untimely death, he finds his spirit wandering in one of the dark lower worlds, alone and hopeless except for continued messages of love his young wife sends him through her prayers. Moved by the constancy of her devotion, he sets out to redeem himself by trying to help other lost souls, a mission which takes him into the lowest hells of the astral realm. Through his journey, there unfolds a remarkably lucid account of the different levels of the spirit realm, and the great brotherhoods of light who work there. Esoteric students have long regarded Wanderer as one of the clearest, most accurate descriptions of the spirit realms and the life that awaits us on the other side.

This is an excellent book for anyone who wonders what happens after life on earth is over. The details of the different spheres is amazing. This is book to ponder slowly. One of the best books I ever read

This was the first book I read after becoming interested in the concept of a possible afterlife and what it might be like. I never read the Bible but know of the general ideas contained in it, and must say that if there is a God and if he is as all-loving as Christians and other religions make him out to be, then these people must realize the hypocrisy of everlasting hellfire. You will find no hypocrisies in this book, only fair and loving truth, as told through the eyes of Franchezzo. For anyone who has a fear of the unknown I urge you to read this and you may find hope yet.

One of the most powerful books I've ever read. This book did not change any of my beliefs, it only confirmed some of them. Upon death you find yourself in your astral body in the astral plane(s) reaping the rewards of your good deeds done on Earth, and suffering the punishments for your bad deeds done on Earth. Indeed, perfect justice exists in the afterlife. You do reap what you sow. However, hell is not forever, and you can always soar higher in heaven, higher and higher. So practice the golden rule if you want to find yourself in good circumstances in the afterlife.

I read this book and felt like I was there at the same time, If you believe in the afterlife, this book is a great tool to understand what is really important here on earth, and it doesn't matter how many times we read or hear we have to do goodness and such, once our physical self expires, our spirit still carries on, literally our sins as well as our goodness, and only the latter will help us change to better places in spirit lands. If you believe in it.
