In my opinion this started out a bit slow but did get much better as the characters developed. Just as the tension was rising the book ended. The author needs to either get a sequel out (ASAP!!) or learn how to end a story properly. Even if a sequel is planned (& he should have stated so) the ending was too abrupt. 2.5 Stars due to the poor ending.

I liked the writing but the story ended terrible and seemed like it all was a waste of time and just a bunch of rambling

Don't waste your time with this. The book has no ending. No, it isn't a cliffhanger, it abruptly stops. They leave the main character, hiding out in a cabin, while his girlfriend, who just broke up with him, leaves with a reporter. The reporter has his photos and tape of police corruption. You don't find out if they come back for him..or those who might be trying to kill him, find him, or he is called in for "questioning". It just stops. I will never read another book written by this author.

I am not sure what even happened. One minute I am reading a fairly decent book and the next minute it just stops. It doesn't end, it just stops. I do not know why this author decides to do this. At least after all that effort, FINISH THE BOOK! Kathy

Sex scenes could have been less descriptive. Hated the ending. Don't like to be left hanging.

Was good until the end... Now it feels like a waste of time. Cliffhanger with no sequel. I'm disappointed.
